This memorable 3-bedroom house is the perfect home base for your trip to Athens, New York in the Sleepy Hollow Lake community. With a charming ambience, this delightful property provides a comfortable stay for up to 8 guests. The bedrooms feature a wide variety of sleeping arrangements including a king, queen, full, and twin beds. Enjoy the hot tub after a long day of hiking or all of the activities Sleepy Hollow Lake has to offer. A bit chilly out? Gather around either the outdoor firepit or the indoor wood burning stove located in the open concept living area all while either listening to records or enjoying a movie. Got some work to do? Use the dedicate workspace in the primary bedroom with high-speed internet. Experience the magic of Sleepy Hollow Lake (and all of its amenities including tennis, pickleball, swimming, playgrounds and more...) in our beautiful A-frame home.

We stayed here for a local wedding. Our hosts were awesome. The house is super clean and was perfect for our stay. Our hosts were incredibly responsive with their communications and anticipated our needs. The host is also easy to find. We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean home that has everything you need in the kitchen. Host was very responsive. The owners did a great job creating a space that’s perfect for guests. Small games around the house that made the stay more enjoyable for the family.

The house was beautiful, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed for a girls weekend away! A quick drive to the pool/lake area, and we loved having the hot tub and campfire in the back yard.

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was a perfect for our girls weekend. Everything was provided and the host very responsive. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful, well-appointed home. Comfortable beds and linens. Lovely outdoor space with fire pit and hot tub. An easy 20 minute drive from lots of great restaurants and shops in Hudson.This is a gem!

Perfect Lakeside Getaway with All the Extras

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this property! From the cozy fire pit and relaxing hot tub to the breathtaking sunset views over the lake, everything exceeded our expectations. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the house had all the comforts of home. The location was ideal—just a short drive to Hudson for great restaurants and shops. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, and the check-in process was seamless. It was the perfect weekend with friends and truly everything we could have asked for. Highly recommend!

Cozy Home, Beautiful Lake

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! Enjoyed the hot tub and the campfire every night. The marina is a quick ~5min walk. Good for a picnic. Tennis courts (15min drive) were well maintained and available as well. Most of the grocery stores are on the other side of the Hudson, so be ready to do a few big grocery trips and otherwise stay at the house. Had a wonderful time and the record player was a nice touch!

Sleepy Hollow Lake is a private community. It combines resort amenities (pool, tennis, pickleball, basketball, lake, etc.) with a relaxing small-town atmosphere. It has stunning Catskill Mountain views. It's only 2.5 hours from NYC and minutes away from the towns of Hudson and Catskill for great dining and shopping. It also has easy access to major ski resorts making it a great four-season getaway.

The Athens A-Frame balances active entertainment with all season relaxation. The game room is a great hang-out space while the woodstove and hot tub provide "hygge" vibes in the winter and the deck, hammock, and firepit create an outdoor oasis for summer evenings. With three bedroom and 2.5 baths, the house is an ideal size for two families or a group of friends.
