Hello Andrea, We are very saddened to read that you felt you had a two-star review stay at our Seashell. As we appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, we believe that some of your comments are unfair. We would have liked to be contacted during your stay so we could address your concerns and make your stay more comfortable. If you felt something was lacking in the cleaning, we would have been happy to send a cleaner back over and take care of an issue that might have been missed but our company was never contacted. The blinds have been ordered for the bedroom and a new blanket so thank you for bringing this to our attention. After inspection we did not find any door handles that needed repair. The pool was cleaned the morning of your arrival and is cleaned professionally once a week. Since your stay was only four nights, it would make sense that it was not cleaned again during your stay. Hello Kristi, Thank you for being our guest in Seashell. We apologize that there was trash to walk by after parking. As you mentioned, this is a wonderful location because it is so close to the beach and all the fun stores and restaurants that Pine Ave has too over! Unfortunately, that also means commercial parking and trash, and June is one of the busiest months of the summer so there is extra traffic on the island. It is in the description twice that there is one designated parking spot and it is clear that you would have to use the stairs to get up to the unit by the photos. We understand that stairs can be difficult for some guests, so we kindly suggest that for future bookings you confirm access to the property before booking. Seashell is a favorite to most who stay there, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed the home and its amenities. Sunny Regards, FDR team

Hi Rodney, Thank you for being our guest in Seashell. Please understand as we explained during your stay. The owner pays a pool service to clean the pool once a week, it would not be possible to have someone clean it every two or three days to remove items as they drop into the pool. We do provide a net so they guest can quickly remove these items in-between the pools professionally cleaning. If you did not swim in the pool, this was of course your choice but certainly not necessary. Kindly, FDR Team

Hi Melissa, Thank you for staying with us at Seashell. A wonderful quality about this unit is its location. We do provide a chain that can be placed across the parking spot when you are not using it to avoid your spot being taken but asking for a cone from the golf cart company is also a good idea. Unfortunately, tree rats are all over the island as this is their home and we are visitors. If they start to intrude in guests' space, we are happy to send pest control. We investigated the beach chairs after reading the review. A couple have some rust on them, but they are functional. Rust happens very quickly with the salt air/ocean water, it is important for guests to rinse them off after coming back from the beach but often this does not happen. Kindly, FDR Team

Hi Kathryn, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are surprised to hear that you felt the furniture and accents are dated as many of it was just purchased new last year. We do not supply any open food items, please refer back to your check instructions on what items are supplied for the property. We try and send this out well in advance so you can prepare for your stay accordingly. The pool is serviced once a week professionally, so we apologize if debris made its way into the pool in-between the cleans. Unfortunately, this time of year there is more rain and wind.
