Relax and enjoy the view at this Wild Dunes private home! Three Bedroom, Two Bath elevated beach cottage in gated community of Wild Dunes, with access to miles of beach and bike paths. In close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, this is a great location to get away and relax. Approximately 3 short blocks from a beach access path, where you can enjoy miles of award-winning white sandy beaches.

NEW for Spring/Summer 2025: Brand New Innerspring Mattress sets in King and Queen Bedrooms (installation 4/11/25 by Charleston Mattress Company), new sliding glass doors in King & Queen bedrooms, and the Living Room.

Elevated Wild Dunes near beach cottage in wooded area with great views of lagoon and golf course. Watch fish jumping, a variety of island birds, and alligators in their natural habitat from the comfort and safety of the beautiful sun room! Also features sundeck, Gas grill, WiFi, Cable TV streaming with Sling TV plus Antenna. The square footage of this house is 1600. Fireplace cosmetic only, not available for use. No smoking. No pets- exception ONLY for Service Animals and dog considered for stays over 30 days (fee applies).

Located within the popular gated community of Wild Dunes, this villa offers affordable accommodations for a small group or family. Centrally located within the community, permitting easy access inside and outside the gates of Wild Dunes.

Great Place for Relaxation

I was walking distance from everything important to me - the hotel where my meetings were held and the beach. It perfectly accommodated my group of four adults and two children. Plenty of linens and bedding, very clean, very comfortable. I loved the sunroom in the back but wish more of the windows opened.

Nestled inside Wild Dunes

The house was basically nice but could use updating including but not limited to the furniture, flooring and lighting. There should have been extra towels but received only one set per person. The sliding glass door was hard to slide, ironically I got a text during our stay by maintenance to come by to look at the door, I didn’t call them. The communication with the Management Company was terrible before check-in; during our stay it was excellent. No blow dryer was supplied. What rental doesn’t have a blow dryer in this day in age? Same does for a K-Cup Brewer vs a conventional coffee maker. Our trip was very last minute, a sudden death in the family. There were a couple of light bulbs burned out too. If I owned the place it would get a make-over and a new Management Company. Still in a pinch, I would stay there again as it’s close to the Wild Dunes pools and to the IOP Oceanfront.

Chillin on the Coast

Very clean, spacious, great kitchen pots, pans, silverware glasses and dishes! Had everything we needed and a short 15 min walk to beach… used a wagon to take beach items to beach. No keurig but Mr Coffee was fine! Loved to see view of lagoon and golf course. We even had a green heron visitor and watched a gator in lagoon! Grill was awesome too! A pleasant comfy stay!

Great View and Location, Serviceable House

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location by the hotels/boardwalk, lovely view. This reasonably-priced home is dated but serviceable. The home had a significant ant problem the week we stayed in it, but this should be a simple fix. The mattresses in the twin bedroom also need replacing as they are painful to sleep on. In the cooler months, rugs would be a cozy, inviting touch. Kitchen had everything we needed and we truly loved the back porch with its quiet heater and forested view of the golf course. We were treated to several deer sightings over coffee.

Nice home - poor management

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Every trip starts with your initial impression. Ours was a last minute trip and we found this great house which had availability at the last minute and nobody had rented the house for a couple days ahead of our visit. On the morning of checkin, I asked the management company if we could checkin an hour prior to the checkin time, since nobody had rented the house in several days. They said they would text me when we could check in. Never received any communication from them. Enough said.... Great house! and loved the back porch!

Updating

The place is a bit out dated and has a bad smell on the back sun room. Some of the sliding doors don't work and we kept finding long black hairs on the towels, sheets and bathrooms.

Fantastic Beach Vacation House In A Very Nice Area

The porch is the best part. Beautiful view of nature and the golf course from the back porch. Phenomenal location for a short golf cart drive to the resort amenities and beach access.

Very Nice

Nice property. A little dated but the sun room was a real bonus especially with the A/C. The walk to the beach was just a touch on the long side, The view out the back was very nice.

Great location!

We have stayed on this street before in another property, and always enjoy our time here at Wild Dunes. The house was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed the mornings and evenings on the porch, which looked out onto the first green of the golf course, but was protected. The house was clean, comfortable and had all we needed. Would highly recommend!

Decent stay

House in the woods

The house was amazing. The accuracy of the online listing didn't do it justice that' s why I gave it 4 stars in that area. We arrived on rainy dark night only to wake up looking over a pond and a golf course. The house was spotless. wonderful time was had.

Great getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location. The view out the front was especially nice. The only drawback (and it wasn’t a big deal) was that there was no cable TV so you’re basically limited to the 3 major networks. We’ve stayed in Wild Dunes during February for several years and hope to return again. I would definitely recommend this property and also Island Realty. They were very good to work with.
