You will be right at the beach, there is super boogie boarding, great sunsets, & lots of beach walking! Hale Kamaole is a beautifully landscaped, low density property consisting of spacious one and two bedroom condominiums, it is rated 'Solid Gold' by Maui Revealed. Our newly remodeled condo can sleep up to 4, it has a new CA King bed in the bedroom (which includes a small flat screen TV) and a pull out queen sofa bed in the living room with a 37' flat screen tv. Free WIFI With High Speed Roadrunner internet. Our one bedroom unit can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. Our two bedroom/2 bath Hale Kamaole #250 unit (vrbo #290958) has a beautiful ocean view and also has a loft area, which adds additional living and sleeping space (up to 8). We also own HK #162 (vrbo # 450779), ground floor walk out in the lower pool area, one bedroom/one bath.

The complex is located directly across from Kama'ole III State Beach Park, which is known as one of the most beautiful and safest beaches in the Islands, it even has its own Lifeguard station! It is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, sunning, jogging, picnicking, kite flying, and especially enjoying amazing sunsets and whale watching.

Each unit has a private lanai that faces the interior of the complex, our unit # 239 offers beautiful views of the expansive lawns, the upper pool, and lush tropical landscape of palm trees, bougainvillea, hibiscus, birds of paradise and plumeria trees.

There are two pools, a covered pavilion, and a full size tennis/Pickle Ball court on the property. Every evening the outdoor barbecue area is a popular spot to socialize with others while grilling the perfect dinner and watching as the Hale Kamaole conch shell band performs their nightly sunset ritual (all are invited to join).

You will find world class golf courses, fantastic snorkeling and diving, many Maui activities, abundant shopping and delicious fine and family dining all within minutes of Hale Kamaole.

The pool was great! The AC was locked at 72. With the Storm the humidity was awful so sleeping was an issue. The bed was amazing though!

A great condo and location!

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Love the location as it is a favorite. We really enjoyed our stay and will plan to book this condo in the future. Property manager was very accessible and easy to communicate with. Loved it.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay here last month. Highlights: location was close to beaches and shops, restaurants. Walkable to the beach :) Apartment is cozy, had a lot of kitchen tools to use and it was clean and spacious for us 4 to stay in. The only issue was the shower drain was slow for the water to go down, but besides that everything else was fine. And the washer and dryer was convenient to wash our clothes everyday, but it was quite loud. Not a big deal though :)

The condo was in a good location and close to our favorite snorkel sites. The amenities in the condo are in need of a refresh. The furniture was worn and dirty. The one pan has a lot of the Teflon scratched off and needs to be replaced. The towels were similar to those found in low tier motels. The cleaning was below our expectations. I dropped an earring behind the night stand and when I pulled out the night stand it was so dirty behind it and under the bed. The lining area had dust balls on the ceiling near the fan and along the wall above the couch.I would not consider this unit in the summer since the window AC could barely keep the unit cool enough in the winter. The complex needs to turn on outside lights. The times we arrived or left in the dark it was very hard to negotiate the stairway and the hallways were very dark.

While I am glad you enjoyed our proximity to some of Maui’s best snorkeling, I am truly sorry that the condition of the condo and the complex did not meet the high standards we strive to provide. We take your comments seriously and have already begun addressing the specific issues you raised: Cleanliness: I have met with our cleaning team to review your findings. Deep cleaning behind furniture and dusting high-reach areas like ceiling fans are mandatory requirements, and we clearly missed the mark during your visit. We are implementing a more rigorous inspection checklist to ensure this does not happen again. Condo Refresh: Your feedback on the furniture and towels is invaluable. We are currently auditing our inventory to replace worn linens and are scheduled to deep-clean the upholstery. I can also confirm that the damaged cookware has been discarded and replaced with new All Clad pans. Climate Control: While the window units are standard for many Kihei properties, We have had a new unit installed. In the future, please speak up about items that need attention... Complex Safety: Regarding the exterior lighting, I have formally contacted the Homeowners Association (HOA) to report the dark stairways and hallways. Guest safety is our priority, and we will push for a swift resolution on those light fixtures. We are committed to providing a premium experience,

Great place to stay. Affordable and fully stocked.

Pros: I was quite comfortable in the king size bed. The lanai was always shaded which I liked. There were beach chairs and umbrella as well as noodles, body boards and snorkel gear. It was great having a washer and dryer. Furnishings were in excellent condition, lights were bright. There weren't any bugs in the condo. The grounds crew keeps the area very tidy. Kitchen had everything I needed. I'd like to come back again. Cons: It's a ways to walk to get to the grills and pool from the second floor. The light switch into the bedroom didn't turn on anything. No main room A/C just in the bedroom. TV remote numbers are gone and it doesn't turn the tv on. Just turn it on manually and you're set.

New TV remote on order, thanks for letting me know. 99% of Hale Kamaole units only have a/c in the bedrooms, my unit has a Casa Blanca (high quality, quiet) overhead fan in the Living room. My rental price reflects the condo's location in the complex, just a short walk to the pools & BBQs, I can't change the location, but I do price the condo a bit lower to compensate for being on the second floor. I would love to have you stay again, thank you!

Condo was nice. Bed was very comfortable. Nicely appointed.Supplies in condo were good! Loved having washer and dryer with laundry soap supplied. Lots of towels and sheets. Good parking. Had a central elevator. Grounds well cared for, nice pool. Near nice beaches, Charley Young was our favorite. Would rent again.

Good location right across from the beach and lots of local eateries. Clean. Quiet. Good amenities - although we didn’t discover the closet on the deck with the extra goodies until the last day.

Kick back in Kihei

This relaxed family resort is just across the street from the beach park. It is not ocean view, but you can catch a glimpse of it from the lanai which is also a great place to watch the sun color the sky at sunset if you don't want to take the short walk to the beach. We would certainly stay there again.

Anniversary Stay

Property is very well kept and stalked with supplies, and for the most part quiet. Property manager Linda is a gem, she was there to help with any concerns/issues we had. Enjoyed the pools, as well as the people we talked with that frequent them. Location is a easy walk to anywhere you want to go. Thank you Karen for letting us stay, we will definitely be staying here again!

Great location

A great place to stage out of for day trips or going to the beach 200 yards away (with good beach chairs etc in the cupboard on the deck). Well-equipped kitchen.

Great Location

The condo was in a very convenient location for our stay. We were at the far end of the complex, but was an easy walk to the park across the street to watch the sunset. Unit was extremely well stocked and clean. Enjoyed our stay completely.

Our daughter was very young when we first traveled to Hawaii, no Mexico for us with a baby! We have been coming back for over 29 years, Maui truly is the best!!!
