The cabins were exactly what we wanted. A small cabin in the middle of the Redwood forest. Very peaceful and only a short drive out to town for any groceries needed.

The Fern Hook Cottage was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in the redwoods. The cottage was clean and had plenty of pillows, blankets and comfortable bedding. I enjoyed cooking in the small kitchen. The host responded to all my questions

My husband and I stayed at this location for a week and we loved it!! It was clean, had exactly what we needed, host was responsive and just a cozy spot to be. After a really long hike, we were thankful for a nice bathtub to soak in!! We would highly recommend!!

I can't recommend Fern Hook more! It was the first stop on our trip- and the best stop! The cabins are secluded, private, clean, and cozy. We could see the stars at night, we were RIGHT next to the various Redwood adventures we had planned, and we had everything we needed for our stay. You can hear some noise from the road nearby, but it's not jarring. And the cabins have been excellently curated to feel extremely private. We could just barely see the next cabin over through the trees, but the view was mostly obscured by the forest and ferns and we felt like we were in our own little oasis of nature. Everything inside felt clean and cared for. 10/10 would recommend and would return!

Cute modern cabinPerfect stop for us. Cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a short overnight stop. There is some road noise but didn’t bother us at all, felt cozy in the woods.

This was a perfect cabin, small, but for the price everything needed. Lightly stocked kitchen (had pans, oil, salt, pepper etc), a stove/oven and microwave. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. Easy to find.

We had a fantastic stay at the Fern Hook Cabin. It was so clean, had everything we needed, the bed was super comfortable and my son who opted to sleep on the couch said that was super comfortable as well. Another mattress was provided, but he preferred sleeping on the couch. The ferns, redwoods and other vegetation surrounding the cabin was just so beautiful, lush and full of vibrant green colors. Each cabin is tucked into their own little area that it is very private. We had good communication with the host, he made some really good recommendations on hikes as well as restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
