Very comfortable!

We had a very enjoyable stay. It is nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. We always travel with our dogs, and I appreciate owners that allow them!

The listing was slightly deceiving as I believed we were renting an entire home. In fact it was a home split into 2 separate units/duplex style. It did not explicitly say this in the description. “Walk” to town was also stretch. Even without the road construction on each end it would have been 20-25 minute walk to “town” which I would consider to be butler street in Saugatuck. It was, however, a short drive to things and to town (about 4 ish minutes). The surrounding area was quiet. I was glad to find a pet friendly property. It was averagely clean, the large bed was comfortable and my kids said the pull out couch was comfortable for sleeping. The bathroom could use an update and cabinets had paint peeling. Overall, it was not my favorite VRBO but definitely not the worst. An average stay.

Overall, we enjoyed our week stay and found it to be a great space for two people with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked, and having a full-size washer and dryer was a huge plus. The bed was also comfortable.There were a few housekeeping issues that kept this from being a five-star stay. The pillowcases on two of the pillows weren’t clean when we arrived. They had makeup stains and hair on them, although the stains came out after washing them. Only one set of towels was left out initially, but we were able to find extras in the closet. The bathroom, particularly the shower, could also use some updating, as it appeared stained and had some mold.During our stay, there was major construction on the street, so the property could only be accessed from the west side. It wasn’t a significant inconvenience, and we didn’t experience much construction noise. The property was generally quiet, although we did hear some noise from neighboring guests when the adjoining unit was occupied.The listing describes the property as being within walking distance of town. While it’s technically possible (about a 30-minute walk), we found ourselves driving most of the time. It may be more enjoyable if there were sidewalks and well lit streets.

Very nice property

The property was very well decorated, everything you would need in the kitchen and very clean. Behind the back yard is a businesses which i thought may get noisy during the week but it was quiet the time. I would definitely return to this rental.

We had a lot of difficulty getting there due to some roadwork being done directly in front of the unit and the driveway. You might think this is inevitable and unexpected but a quick google search shows the roadwork was scheduled months in advance and the owner did not make us aware prior. We were traveling with our 10 month old daughter as well and due to the roadwork, she had difficulty napping during the day. The roadwork was very loud and the vibrating caused the windows and unit to tremble. We were not able to enjoy the outdoor area because of the loud construction noise. It would’ve been nice to have a heads up about this prior to arriving. The unit was also older and felt a bit dirty, especially in the shower. I wouldn’t recommend staying here for the price.
