Adorable pet-friendly cottage within walking distance to downtown Saugatuck and all it has to offer. Main room offers a gas fireplace, TV and full kitchen with a pull-out loveseat and space to dine. Queen bed in bedroom, ensuite bath with shower and laundry room. A/C, ceiling fans & shady location. Private parking and outdoor garden area. Perfect stay for a couple + 1. Be sure to take advantage of the popular restaurant The Southerner right next door. The restaurant can be quite busy in the summer so there's fantastic people watching from your private patio but it ends service at 10pm so no late night noise or commotion.

Nothing short of cozy!

We had a wonderful girls get away. Everything you need is provided in that house, and if it's not, you don't really need it. The perfect location for us to unplug, unwind and slow down, not to mention it's a short stroll to all the downtown gems! Thank you, Amy, for hosting us!

Cute,clean little cottage

Property was cute and cozy. Clean also. Only drawback would have to be that its literally in a restaraunt parking lot. It wasnt too bad noise wise but the car traffic and a bit of noise,especially when the restaurant staff were getting off shift,was unexpected.

Cozy winter getaway

This place is very cute and stayed really warm during a winter storm which was so fun to experience. The heated bathroom floor and fireplace were much appreciated! In the winter this is not a gorgeous location as without the tree leaves you feel planted in the middle of a parking lot; however, the location allowed us the ability to get to shops and restaurants that stayed open during the snow, wind and very cold temperatures. It's great that the Southerner delivers! Allowing pets is another definite plus to the cottage. Our cat hung out in front of the fireplace the whole time we were there. In addition to going to the stores and restaurants, we cross country skied at Pigeon Creek, visited both Holland and Saugutuck Dunes State Park and checked out the snow on Opal Beach. Saugutuck is an awesome little town that offers a lot. We will definitely be back to enjoy it again and will also try to rebook this place although we know it is popular from its reviews and from reading its guest book.

Cozy Cottage

This cottage was perfect! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! Very clean, and every amenity we needed. Great use of a small space. 10/10 would stay again!

Wonderful little Roost

Great location. Very clean. Super cute! Went to Saugatuck for a couple days to celebrate a friends bday. The Roost was the perfect location and oh-so sweet. Kitchen was great!

Perfect Weekend Stay!

I stayed here with my husband and our 2 month old daughter and we had the perfect stay at the Roost! The location was unbeatable, we were able to walk to town in under 10 mins and with the Southerner next door we had amazing food right there. Would definitely stay here again :)

Fall trip

The house had everything we needed and was just as pictured and clean. The location was great for us and the outdoor seating nice too. We also enjoyed the short walk over to the Southerner restaurant.

Lovely October in Saugatuck

Location was ideal - within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. And the owner was immediately responsive to a question before our arrival. I hope to stay again in the future.

Convenient and Comfortable

We had a great trip and stay in the Saugatuck area. The cottage was very cute, clean, and conveniently located to downtown Saugatuck and its attractions. The cottage had everything we needed, and Amy was very quick at responding to any questions. We walked across the parking lot to dinner at The Southerner, and walked downtown to The BARge, various shops, and the Star of Saugatuck. We were conveniently close to other places and did a dune ride as well as visited Holland. Great time and highly recommend!

Cute little cottage

This little cottage was located about 10 mins walking from town and it was a nice easy walk. We got to enjoy the privacy, everything was clean and well stocked. Perfect for a couples get away.

Idyllic getaway

Everything necessary for a quiet and comfortable three night stay. Full kitchen and laundry with a grocery store a few minutes away. In walking distance to downtown and the river with it’s beautiful paddle boat excursion which we took out to Lake Michigan. Perfect for walking our dog around the town and surrounding areas.

Beautiful Cottage, Excellent Location

The cottage as exactly as expected with great indoor and outdoor space, all the amenities and very well kept. It is close to town but not right in town which was perfect. I very much enjoyed my stay and would return.

Quiet and cozy cottage near town.

Very clean and well-appointed cottage about a leisurely ten minute walk to town. Loved the floors—no nasty carpet—, very comfortable queen-sized bed, and amenities. What I really appreciated though was the fragrance-free linens and plant-based shower products. Thank you!

Weekend getaway

This property was perfect for my husband and I for a much needed first weekend away from our first baby. Amy was responsive and so helpful with anything we needed. We will be renting this cottage again in the future!

The Roost at the Southerner

Cottage was clean, modern, great little kitchen. We used the patio frequently for cookouts, and wine sipping. Very quiet even though the restaurant was nearby. Host was very accessible. Very enjoyable. We will come back.
