Bearskin Lake is known for walleye, musky, and small mouth bass. Fish right from the pier or bring a boat. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath cabin has a full sized, well appointed kitchen and is set up for relaxation and fun with a covered deck, pier with swim ladder, fire pit, optional water sports, and stunning sunsets. Had a great time! House was even nicer than the photos. Spent most of my time out on the lake fishing and did really well. Enjoyed every minute of my stay here and will probably come visit again!

Wonderful up north cabin with lots of character. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Kitchen is well stocked and well thought out. Layout of the property is amazing with fantastic sunsets. Location is well within many choices for eating out, shopping and enjoying the outdoors.

This is a beautiful, unique cottage. There are antiques and lovely decorations. We will be returning! We filled the hummingbird feeder often, and the little birds came all day long. The cottage was clean, and comfortable, providing anything you could need. The area is quiet, private, and wonderful. There's a large porch to relax on, and enjoy the scenery.

Beautifully appointed - great Northwoods feel with modern conveniences!

A very nicely decorated, up to date ‘lodge’ in the woods with some quiet lake frontage. You won’t miss anything here - tons of supplies, from kitchenware to towels and more. Beds were comfortable and kitchen has great high end appliances. Good water pressure in well supplied bathrooms. Could definitely use a humidifier in the basement bedroom/ bathroom space.

Camp Makwa truly exceeded our expectations! The cabin is beautifully decorated and equipped with every comfort we could ask for. My husband and I loved watching the stunning sunsets, and our dogs had a fantastic time being with us. My husband particularly enjoyed taking one of the kayaks out to explore the lake. We also appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and the grill on the porch, which made cooking and dining a delight.We were sad to leave this beautiful property and hope to come back someday. I highly recommend camp Makwa!

The house was absolutely beautiful and had lots of rustic charm inside and out! The hosts were very easy to communicate with. When I had questions or concerns they responded promptly. The kitchen was a joy to cook in with lots of modern appliances which made cooking family meals a breeze and a large dining room to enjoy them! The property offered lots of amenities so we could get out and explore on the water or just relax around the dock or fire pit. We had beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding woods so much nature to take in. Would definitely like to go back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Camp Makwa! The property is absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was especially well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy time together.The trip was the perfect balance of activity and relaxation—the men spent their days out on the water catching fish while the ladies enjoyed relaxing and taking in the peaceful surroundings. We made some great memories and truly appreciated the care and attention that has gone into this property.We would highly recommend Camp Makwa to anyone looking for a comfortable cabin in a beautiful setting and hope to return again in the future!
