Second time staying at this cabin. The host where very easy to work with and the cabin was exactly what we needed for the weekend. Love the atmosphere of this cabin. Could set on the covered porch and listen to the water fall for a relaxing morning.

The house was beautiful! It was very clean! It was well stocked. The outside deck and fire pit areas were so peaceful for sitting outside. It was a true mountain experience. We will be returning in the future!

Very happy with this beautiful shaded and secluded cabin. The owners communicated quickly with us, and were very helpful in extending our stay by a day. We especially enjoyed the creekside fire pit and spacious front porch. There are a lot of cabin choices in the Maggie Valley area, but this one is definitely at the top of our list. We look forward to a return visit.

Cabin was in a great central location for Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and hiking. The cabin was perfect; just like the pictures. It was well-stocked, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was very clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch listening to the creek below. Since it was summer we didn’t use the fireplace or fire pit, but I would love to go back to do so. Great deal for the price as well.

We chose this cabin for the secluded location, and loved everything about it! We made great use of the firepit each evening and the front porch each morning. The beds were very comfortable! And while we didn’t use the sofa bed we have slept on that style before and know it would be comfortable for additional guests. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. Including a variety of spices and oils. We didn’t venture far beyond Maggie Valley and Cherokee. And sightseeing in between. And we were always glad to return to the relaxing cabin. A big shout out to “The Old Gray Mare”. A nearby country market for fresh produce, eggs, cheese, and meat. We hope to return to Maggie’s Song in the future.

We where only there for a quick weekend get away, but the cabin was amazing. We sat on the porch by the gas fire place and listened to the water rushing down the hill across the road. The house was cozy and was everything we needed for the weekend. The host where great and attentive if something was needed. I liked the small details, like added things in case they where forgotten at home (body wash, shampoo, etc....)

This was one of the cleanest places I have ever booked through VRBO. Jodi communicated well throughout the entire booking and checked in with us once we arrived to make sure everything was suitable. This cabin had everything we needed and was very accommodating. We used the grill a couple of times and wished it was warmer so we could have sat on the front porch and listened to the beautiful sound of the waterfall. Everything was just wonderful!! Can’t say enough about this place.

This place is amazing!!!! Sitting on the covered porch listening to creek below was just what my wife and I needed!!! Also a patio heater there to stay warm on those cool rainy evenings. Master bed slept great, very cozy cabin. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Thanks for sharing your property with us!!

We loved our trip to this beautiful cabin in Maggie Valley! We came to escape the heat of summer in coastal South Carolina, but fell in love with this place. The location is off the beaten path but still convenient to so many places. The cabin is just like pictures, only better! The pics can’t capture the peaceful feeling of this location. We loved the fire pit - and even took advantage of the propane fire pit in the porch on one stormy evening. I also enjoyed the hammock (be sure and use bug spray, the mosquitoes are sneaky in the mountains) Communication was perfect. Yes, the driveway is a bit intimidating the first time up, but just take it slow and steady and it is fine!Cannot recommend this place enough..yet I want to make sure not too many people find it because we want to come back!Thank you for an amazing get away!

Yearly ski trip

We had a fabulous time and the home was exactly what I was looking for. We go to Maggie Valley every year and I always want that cabin in the woods with a nice fireplace and comfy furniture. Very nicely updated and we enjoyed the outside fire pit. The hosts were great and always available. I would definitely book again

Relaxing Getaway

spent a wonderfully relaxing time in the mountains! The hosts thought of all amenities including a well appointed coffee station :). Despite some thunderstorms we were able to enjoy local museums, water fall attractions, a visit to the local spa, and even some short hikes. Great to be “off the grid”! Highly recommend!

The cabin was amazing! It was very clean and accommodating for two couples (total of 4 people) but could easily accommodate another couple. Very relaxing stay. For me, getting in and out of the driveway was a little scary. Had to go up past the driveway and turn around in order to make the swing into the driveway. Again…..AMAZING CABIN!!! Would book again if/when we come back to this area.

Only thing better than a weekend in Maggie...a house that far exceeds your greatest expectations!! This adorable cabin did that and more!! I am very picky when I choose a home and seldom re-rent the same one. This one checked all the boxes. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms fully (I mean fully) stocked and the cabin's decorations added the perfect ambience for a winter weekend in the mountains. PERFECT!! Will be back!

We had a great stay in this cozy cabin. It was clean and comfortable, including the beds, and fully stocked with everything you’d need. We very much appreciated the phone chargers in each bedroom. The fire pit had an ample supply of wood and the covered porch with a heater was comfortable and relaxing. The house is spacious and the bedrooms being one upstairs and one down offered privacy, Jodi and Mike were quick to respond to questions and really thought of everything to make their home welcoming. We plan on making it an annual trip to Maggie Valley and would absolutely like to stay here again!

Peaceful Cabin in the Forest!

Beautiful is the only way to describe this cabin. We spent hours just sitting on the porch listening to the creek below with it's rushing water fill the mountain side with sound. The birds singing constantly around us as if they were having conversations with each other. The leaves were full and bright. The cabin has all the amenities and was clean and very comfortable and warm. The host were always in constant communication with us. My family and I highly recommend a stay in this magical place!

Tranquil Cabin

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Maggie’s Song in Maggie Valley and it was absolutely fantastic! The cabin itself was cozy and inviting, with plenty of room for my wife and I. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook our meals. The living room was perfect for relaxing by the fireplace. The surrounding area was breathtaking. We loved hiking through the nearby trails and exploring the scenic mountain views on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin's location was also ideal for easy access to local attractions. The area was perfect for outdoor activities, with hiking trails, nearby waterfalls, and elk sightings just down the road. Overall, our stay in Maggie Valley was wonderful. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and in a beautiful setting. Our host was easy to communicate with and made us feel welcome., We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable mountain getaway.

Maggie’s Song was a wonderful retreat!! Communication was great!The host was very responsive to messages. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. The heater in the bathroom was a nice treat on cool mornings. The bed was very comfortable and loved the pillows!! We loved the outdoor spaces-the front porch for coffee and the fire pit area in the evening. The sound of the water was so peaceful!! The water pressure, especially at the kitchen sink seemed low, but it may be the norm when you are up in the mountains. Thoroughly enjoyed our week here!!

The cottage was wonderful. It reminds me of my grandparent's cottage in Michigan. Sleeping with the gentle sound of the creek below us was great. We saw elk, beaver, a bear along with the usual squirrels and chipmunks, and Sam the Big Foot but he's a good guy. The driveway is a challenge, but I got used to it. The porch was a wonderful place to read, nap or just sit. We had some problems with the water pump but our hosts were quick to get it fixed. Improvements? I would like some brighter lights in the bedroom and a place to hang clothes.

Maggie‘s song was the perfect getaway Cabin in the Maggie Valley Asheville area. We enjoyed taking day trips to Asheville and driving to Highlands and cashiers then come back to the cabin in the early afternoon and cook supper grill steaks or hamburgers and relax in the peaceful setting of Maggie song.
