Relax with the family by the fire pit with Adirondack chairs, cook your meals on the grill with outdoor dining area, and enjoy your coffee outdoors to the sounds of the forest and birds. Newly added: level 2 electric vehicle charger!

You can’t beat the proximity to Popham Beach, and the rental comes with a parking pass , beach towels and beach chairs.Beds were fairly comfortable and showers were good.

Very nice house super close to Popham. Amy was very responsive and a great host. Our family really enjoyed our stay!

We were in the area for a wedding and we loved our stay here! We were pleasantly surprised to find all kinds of toys and activities for the kids as we forgot to bring much for them. It had all the essentials and more- plenty of towels, tons of condiments and cookware, cleaning supplies, beach towels, espresso machine, etc. Everything was very clean and the WiFi password being displayed as soon as you walk in is a plus since cell service is spotty. Host was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, stay was great! Home was clean, just the right size for the group, and close to the 1774 Inn. Communication with owner was great... she was very thorough and responsive. We would stay here again.

We ( 5 adult cousins) just spent 2 fabulous nights at “the family home”. Amy quickly responded to every question beforehand and during our stay. The home is lovely and has everything one might need. It was nice having chairs to take to Popham Beach, and an evening under the stars and Milky Way around the fire-pit was a warming end to a chilly night. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the espresso maker. Amy gave us great recommendations on where to purchase seafood to cook at the house. Their grill and lobster pot was perfect. Her booklet of information provided so many places to visit and explore. We went to Popham at 2 different times and caught the tidal change, WOW! The day we left, we stopped at the Maritime museum and had a fun lighthouse tour. Thanks to the Host for making these experiences available.

The house is nicely planned and well-maintained. We really wanted to get away from the daily hustle and this turned out to be a perfect spot to relax, take in beautiful nature and enjoy the beach, which is only a few minutes drive. The hosts thought through everything—beach towels and chairs, paper products in the house, maps of surrounding trails, even a season pass to Popham Beach! We will certainly be back!

The house was spotless. The Host was wonderful to deal with. We had fun there. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. Close to alot of attractions .

We are from Massachusetts, and achieved our dream of owning a home near the beach in Maine in September of 2023. Since that time we have enjoyed exploring and getting to know this beautiful area through all of the seasons. We are excited to share our home with others as hosts now.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

When we first visited Phippsburg, we fell in love with the rugged beauty of this area. We loved the unique beaches with views of islands, the abundant trails and hiking opportunities, and the proximity to the city of Bath, which contains wonderful restaurants, shops and galleries. As we further explored, we discovered the quiet beauty of this place through all of the seasons- we enjoyed hiking in fall, outdoor ice skating and snowshoeing in winter, and of course, beaches in spring and summer. We hope visitors will love it as much as we do!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We have set up our home to host larger families and groups, and have especially planned with kids in mind. As a family of 5, we often find accommodations set up for families of 4, and maybe not so much for older children and teens. Our home has 5 beds, including study full sized bunk beds, and also has children’s books, toys, games, beach gear, etc.
We also love the proximity to the beach, but the fact that our home is in a quiet, less busy area than the immediate beach area. It is a 3 minute drive to Popham Beach, and includes a beach parking pass.
