Lovely and fun venue that is great for a small group gathering. The pool and firepot are great for hanging outdoors. And the host is very accomodating.

Property was very nice and quiet. We did not use the pool but the pool looked immaculate and would have been great if my trip was longer and allowed time. Amenities were wonderful.

This house and property grounds are beautiful. House had everything we needed. The house was big enough for us to sprawl out and the table was big enough so we could all sit together. Pool was clean! We relaxed, swam in the pool and explored the area. The only thing I wish is that the steps had a railing. Dwayne was easy to get ahold of and promptly answered my questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It was plenty spacious for 6 adults and 1 child. We utilized all but one of the bedrooms and were very comfortable. For an older farmhouse, the water pressure in the showers was exceptional. And there were more than enough towels and such for everyone.We didn't realize that the property is part of a larger one that includes and event barn that is beautiful and included beautifully manicured lawns that made an excellent backdrop for some family pictures. The firepit outside was an added bonus and we had a great time around a big fire catching up. Communication with the owner was really good, including checking in with us shortly after check-in to ensure we had all that we needed.I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again. My siblings that joined us, were extremely satisfied as well.

Spacious and Location

The property was very spacious. More than what we were asking for. Location was great, just 10 mins from downtown Utica. Check in was very easy.

Great property for a large group

This house worked great for 8 of us. It has plenty of space, lots of beds, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels in the bathrooms. It is a beautiful property, and we enjoyed a couple of nights around the fire pit. Unfortunately, we did not get to go in the pool, but it looked great! Dwayne was very responsive to any of my inquiries, and we even got to meet him. There is also a beautiful event barn right behind the house that would be amazing for a wedding, it’s called Black Willows Event Center, check it out on line.

Perfect home for our stay

I first want to say our hosts were absolutely amazing. We had a hockey tournament in Utica and were looking for a place that could sleep the entire family without feeling on top of each other. This house was a perfect choice for us. It had all the amenities we needed. We cooked in most of our meals. Plenty of cooking utensils and pans, etc. all the needs of our home. It had a washer and dryer, huge dining room table to seat everyone. Living room big enough for everyone with WiFi and a tv in a lot of the rooms. Sitting area on the porch, fire pit outside with beautiful comfortable chairs and wood was provided. The weather wasn’t cooperative so we never got a chance to use it but for anyone who enjoys a fire, it was awesome. Everyone had their own area to sleep with privacy. 2 full bathrooms with a shower in each. All towels and linens were provided. Fans throughout the house for those who need a fan to sleep. Easy check in and easy check out. Our hosts were available by phone or text with any questions. There was a binder full of places to eat or attractions and it included everything we needed to know about the house. The family had such a great time all being under one roof instead of having to stay in a hotel with separate rooms, the price was absolutely affordable for us, especially for everything that came with the house. We couldn’t have been more happier with our stay. I would highly recommend this place over and over.
