Lovely house

We really enjoyed our stay at Southern Comfort. It was beautifully appointed and Pamela went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

Great house and host

This house was great! It was clean and comfortable and plenty big for eleven of us in town for a family wedding. Communication from the host was clear and helpful and she is SO nice! Great great stay!!!

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful stay. The home was exceedingly clean, has Victorian charm and was better then the pictures show. Pamela left us cake, fresh flowers, coffee and many other items. I highly recommend it!!!

It is a gorgeous setting, beautiful and comfortable house, and perfectly stocked with everything we. Pamela was gracious and swiftly responsive.

Bachelor weekend

Host gave us a cake and had some food that we could use. Was a perfect house to relax at and enjoy our cooperstown weekend only 30min away

Family Reunion

We stayed two nights. Appreciated the cake and extras in the frig. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the view. Thanks for helping to make our weekend with family such a memorable time.

Southern Comfort Stay

The place was great! Pamela was so nice and professional. She gave us detail instructions and was very helpful. We loved our stay there. It was quiet and had plenty of room for everyone. We loved the outside spaces and beautiful landscaping. We had everything we needed plus more. Thanks Pamela!!

We celebrated my sister's 70 birthday with extended family and also ran the Boilermaker on Sunday. Kitchen had everything and the host generously provided coffee, wine, breakfast items etc. We were outside mostly on the deck, very comfortable with a great grill. Would definitely return.

Such a charming and historic property. Perfect for families. The house had everything we needed. Neat and tidy.Pamela, the host, was very responsive to all our questions. Pointed out the little pond across from the house with little frogs in it. Kids were delighted. Also spotted family of deer around the pond early in the morning. The deck was beautiful and well maintained.It’s about a 30 minute (scenic) drive from Cooperstown, so a little out of town…but a perfect little oasis to relax in the mornings and evenings.

Lovely stay in a charming town

the house is large, tho does not look look it from the road. It is charming, beautifully furnished, updated. the bedrooms are lovely. there are several porches, we enjoyed gathering there. the living room and dining room are spacious. we were a large group nad had lots of quiet places to go. Pamela was a lovely host, there was a beautiful vase of fresh flowers in the kitchen and a florel arrangement on the dining room table. these were thoughtful and welcoming. the grounds are abundant with flowers as well Kitchen is newly updated, easy to work in would stay there again.

Get together for retired friends

We had 6 college friends, all retired and in our 70’s from all over the country. We were visiting Cooperstown. The Southern Comfort house was a very manageable drive from Cooperstown through beautiful farm land, rolling hills and well mantained country roads. Plenty of room in the house, enjoyed lots of time on the back deck surrounded by small woods. All the amenities were fine, 3 bathrooms, 2 with small showers, and our host was most accommodating and gracious. Plenty of parking as we had 5 cars in our group. House worked out great for us.

Lovely home!

The home was absolutely charming. There is a lovely view from the front porch, and the interior was decorated in victorian fashion. Pamela was a gracious host and we felt very welcome there.

We had a wonderful stay! Pamela was a wonderful host!

The house and gardens were perfect. My wife and friend fell in love with the gardens. Pamela had a “death by chocolate cake” and another coffee cake as well.

Overall the house is beautiful but old

The things we did not like about our stay was the fact we could not lock the doors when we left nor did some of the doors close completely. The owner is super sweet but comes by too often. She came by everyday. For the amount of money we spent I would not stay there again.

Our stay at Southern Comfort was great!

We had a great week at Southern Comfort. Pamela left muffins, cake, drinks, eggs, and several other items for us to enjoy. She offered great tips about the area including a very useful short cut into Cooperstown. The home was exactly what we needed for our stay while our son played in a baseball tournament. We were so appreciative of Pamela’s kindness and hospitality.
