Looking for an escape with access to gorgeous beaches and beautiful forests? Or, if you prefer, walking distance to a cute downtown with lots of shops and restaurants?
Beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath home located in a quiet neighborhood within 4-5 blocks of 2 beaches! Carmel River State Beach and Carmel City Beach.
The kitchen, living room and dining area are spacious and comfortable for small gatherings of family or friends.
Your home away from home, enjoy the outdoor patio, cook up dinner in the kitchen or on the BBQ, and dine outside by the gas heater. And as the evening cools, snuggle up with your favorite novel next to the indoor gas fireplace, or enjoy one of your favorite movies on the flat screen HD TV from our movie collection, or play one of your own on our Blueray DVD player. Comcast adds 140 channels and wifi is also provided.
If you want to get out ... dine at the famous former mayor's 'Mission Ranch' just 3 blocks away. Visit the galleries, shops and restaurants in 'Carmel By The Sea' - just under a mile and easily walkable through the beautiful unique Carmel neighborhoods. Visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium or golf at one of the 18 courses on the Monterey Peninsula.
If you'd rather enjoy nature ... drive through the Del Monte Forest or head south to Point Lobos State Park and Big Sur. So many places to hike and beaches to explore! Rent bikes (or e-bikes!) and cycle along the coast from Monterey, past Lover's Point, to Pebble Beach. Avid cyclers can also cycle north past numerous sand dunes on a coastal bike path. Paddle kayaks on the Monterey Bay, at Lover's Point, or up the coast at Moss Landing.
And at the end of the day, enjoy an outdoor happy hour at Folklore Winery up Carmel Valley Rd, enjoy 3-5:00 PM 'Grazings' at Mission Ranch, or take happy hour to the beach ... with chairs, your beverage of choice, and snacks to watch the sun set over the water.

Wonderful stay ! House is fully equipped with everything you might need ! Clean and so convenient to downtown shops and restaurants ! Highly recommend this VRBO is visiting the area and would stay again in a heartbeat !

We had a wonderful stay at this home and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The amenities were excellent, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Overall, we had a great experience and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

One of the best family trips we’ve taken. The house had plenty of space for our whole family to spread out and relax, our one-year-old included, and the location was unbeatable with some of the most beautiful beach and neighborhood walks we’ve ever had right outside the door.The host was immediately responsive and incredibly accommodating, which made traveling with a baby so much easier. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this place to everyone we know.

We loved our stay! The neighborhood was peaceful and couldn't be more convenient to the beaches of Carmel. The home was clean, comfortable and beautiful - we had everything we could possibly need. Communication was excellent. We would love to return.

Kitchen had everything needed to cook at the property. Lots of DVD’s if you’re interested with some of my favorites. Great front patio. Nicely furnished with lots of character. Very quiet neighborhood. Walk to the beach is only a few blocks away and if you like a longer walk you can walk up the beautiful Coast line to Ocean Street & back. We plan to stay there again.

The property was great! Very cute, well kept, and cozy!!! Just a 5 minute walk to the beach!! The hosts were great!! Will definitely stay there again!!

Exceptional property to rent. I have used Vrbo for over 10 years and this home,by far, has been my favorite. I most liked the sky-lights and the kitchen area.As a senior I need light to see. Most rooms have sky-lights; perfect for reading without artificial lighting, The kitchen has more dishes, pots, and pans and appliances than my own home. Cupboards are full of spices and paper products so, no need to bring any of these. The kitchen looks small but it is the perfect size with state of the art appliances, Water filter is a plus for me.One final bit of trivia. There is a chandelier above the tub in the bathroom. We used this as a nightlite.

We had an excellent stay at this home. The house was spotless, well cared for, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to the beach and the Mission. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this property to others.

Our family of 5 loved staying at BeachWalk. The home was well situated and easy to find. Despite the rainy weather we experienced, we were able to take lovely walks when the weather permitted. The host checked in with us shortly after our arrival, asking if everything was ok or if we needed anything.

The property was exactly as it was described. The home was well appointed and was very comfortable for our stay. The location was perfect, whether it was walk to the beach, going into town or attending the multiple car events during the week. We look forward to staying there again soon.

Excellent return trip!
Enjoyed our second stay at Beachwalk just as much as the first time! The location is great! Sandy and Alec are excellent hosts who think of everything you could possibly need. We highly recommend a stay here and look forward to returning in the future!

Amazing location, very clean and comfortable.
