Great stay, great weather, great location.

The place was perfect for us and our two dogs. It’s in a great neighborhood and has a great view off of the rear deck. Very comfortable for two people and a couple of dogs. Carmel by the Sea is one of our favorite places to visit for sure.

Charming Place to Stay!

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at Pointe of View, Carmel. It was very clean and had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen. The view off the balcony is 5 stars! (The lavender soap was an extra treat!) Highly recommend!

What a terrific property in Carmel by the Sea!!! We enjoyed the beautiful ocean view from the private deck and the accommodations were excellent. Would come back again. Highly recommend!!!

A little slice of serenity in Carmel

This hillside spot has sweeping ocean views and the kind of quiet that’s hard to find. We sipped wine each evening and had our coffee each morning on the patio while watching the distant waves crash along the rocky coast. You’re far enough from downtown Carmel to actually decompress, yet close enough to walk. (Fair warning: the hills are real. Expect a steep incline both ways if you go on foot.) Amber at Wright Lux Stays was responsive and genuinely helpful throughout. The house itself was immaculate and flooded with natural light. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this rental in the heart of Carmel. The property was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, offering just the right mix of charm and convenience. What really made the experience stand out was the location — it's perfectly situated within walking distance to downtown Carmel, shops, and restaurants.The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet everything we needed was just a short stroll away. It felt like the best of both worlds — a relaxing retreat with easy access to all the best parts of Carmel.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy place with unbeatable location. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoy the view specially during sunset. My family enjoyed the classic and modern vibes. Accessible to anywhere. You can really walk and enjoyed the medditerranean cultures and cottages. If you travelled Europe you know what i mean, and can tell the vibes whether it is a shop,retaurant,any store. A beautiful place to visit. The host is very Friendly,accommodating and hospitable. It was a challenge to find the place but when you see the sunset its all worth it. You can hear the Breeze from the occean in your patio.

Construction and heavy machinery on-ongoing on a small property. Workers flighting and yelling throughout the day. Windows do not shut fully, due to age/wood warping, layers of paint. Peeling paint and rotting wood around the window in the shower. Severe ant problem - by the 3rd day ants were everywhere in the kitchen, all over our stored food. The wood floors were rough and splinter easily, as well as the damaged wood deck. My son had a splinter when he forgot to wear flip flops one evening. This is not a 700 place per night. The pictures do not show the true size or condition of the structure.

The cottage is an older property, and as mentioned in our previous message, we do have plans to fully rebuild it once we receive the necessary permits. In the meantime, we do our best to maintain and care for the home while also being transparent in our listing about its current condition, including the nearby construction activity on the neighboring property. While we can’t control the neighbors, we do include this information in our listing. We’re sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay. Concerns like ants, or anything impacting comfort are things we want to address as quickly as possible and we always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can try to resolve them in real time. We did not hear from you until after your stay, so there was nothing we could offer to remedy any issues. Walking barefoot on a wood deck isn’t uncommon to experience splinters, so we always recommend wearing shoes when outside. Regarding pricing, we use dynamic pricing software that aligns our rates with comparable homes in the area, though we understand that value can feel different based on individual expectations and experiences. Wonderful gem

The view from the balcony is wonderful and the close location to downtown Carmel or Monterey made this stay so convenient. The area delivers a peaceful atmosphere that allows someone to relax. If you want to feel part of the ocean cabin life this is the place to book. Communication was easy and quick with Amanda. Definitely will refer and book again.
