We had a wonderful time on our stay at the Bessie River Cabin. The house was perfect and I will be coming back next year and staying here again. The path down to the stream was fantastic. Caught a few Fish. Had a great trip. Thanks Erica. Wonderful Host

We had a great trip and this was a wonderful VRBO for our family of 6, plus 2 dogs. It was incredibly clean and had everything we would need for our stay! We were stuck inside for a whole day due to air quality from the Canadian fires and played games and ordered pizza. Not how we had envisioned our trip, but still had a great time. Thank you for being wonderful hosts and letting us enjoy your cabin!!

Great little cabin

This was a great place to stay. Clean and well stocked with the essential needs. Well located to several near by rivers for fishing including direct acces to the Betsie river. Really enjoyed it!

Cute little cabin

Great dog friendly property super close to Crystal Mountain (can see it from the window)! Check in/check out process was extremely easy and stress free which was a HUGE plus. Beautiful property with the perfect “Up North” feel. Will definitely stay again!

Cozy log cabin

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights for a ski weekend at Crystal mountain. It was very close and perfect for our needs. My wife even commented that it was the cleanest cabin we’ve ever rented. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin

This cabin was wonderful. All we needed to pack were clothes - everything qas there that we needed. The bed was comfortable and the setting is beautiful. Super short drive to Crystal Mountain and about a half hr to Sleeping Bear. Owners were quick to respond to questions and provided lots of details, including fun things to do in the area. Definitely recommend.

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful time staying at Betsie River Cabin. The set-up was perfect for me, my sister, and our 4 kids. The cabin was cozy and super clean. Not even a single insect! Beds were very comfy and the kitchen was well supplied with dishes/appliances. Convenient drive to Frankfort and Beulah, 45 minutes to Sleeping Bear Dunes. We had a blast and would love to return!

Fish Bbq

As in the past our stay was excellent. We did however find a dish we had put in sink, ever so carefully, in 2 pieces. I left 10 on said broken dish to pay for replacement. Please advise if that’s not enough.Thanks for a great place.Best regards,Bob

Up North Stay

August 4-7, 2024. The modern log cabin with a rustic look and feel was very charming and provided all the necessities for a comfortable up north stay. The steep stairs leading up to the sleeping quarters could be difficult for those with hip or leg disabilities or young children and care is needed getting out of bed so as not to run into the low ceiling beams. Forest solitude and privacy is absent as a clear view of a neighbor's home is within 50 feet and Kurick Rd. (paved 55 mph) is within 100 ft of the cabin making road noise apparent at all times of the day.

The cabin was super clean and comfortable. Erica was very responsive and helpful. The king bed in the loft was very comfortable and my wife appreciated the quality of the sheets. There were only two of us. Larger groups should note that the beds upstairs in the loft are essentially open to each other and to the lower level. It was perfect for the two of us. We would definitely look to stay here again.

Erica was great and quick to respond with questions I had before check in! The cabin was clean and felt like home walking in the door! The cabin was comfortable and fit the needs of 4 people perfectly! We enjoyed our stay, thanks Erica!
