Welcome to Riptide at Thunder Island! This beautifully renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath, bay-front condo is located in the heart of midtown Ocean City next door to the Ocean City Convention Center.
Beach access at 39th Street is just 0.2 miles across Coastal Highway via the Convention Center Drive crosswalk.
Enjoy fantastic sunset views over the bay from the large, private, top-floor balcony. The property offers a bay-front outdoor pool and boat docks. There is also an elevator, on-site security during the summer months, 2 parking spaces, and easy access to the beach. This midtown location is perfectly situated close to many of Ocean City’s famous attractions and restaurants.
The condo has in-unit laundry and is stocked with all of the comforts of home including a fully appointed kitchen, hair dryers, linens & towels, and beach chairs! Smart TVs in the living room and each bedroom are available for you to login to your favorite streaming service. The unit also has free WIFI for guest use. Minimum age for renters is 25. No group rentals, and no parties may be held in the property.

We have stayed in this condo multiple times and loved it each time!! The condo is nicely decorated and fully stocked with everything you need. The pool is never overcrowded. Condo is conveniently located to the beach, restaurants and stores. The bay view is beautiful! We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful views and very clean! The condo had all the amenities we needed and loved swimming in the pool overlooking the bay. Ken was very easy to communicate with and even checked in during our stay. Highly recommend!

What a great spot! The place was clean and beautiful. Well stocked with everything I needed in the kitchen, and nice clean sheets and towels were ready and waiting for us. Had a question and the host (Ken) was easy to get in touch with… very responsive. I would definitely stay inside there again!

Here’s a polished 5-star review you could use:We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. The bay view was beautiful and one of the highlights of the property. The entire complex was exceptionally clean—not just the room, but all of the common areas as well. Parking was easy and convenient, and the location right next to the convention center was perfect for our needs.The pool was clean and well maintained, and the host was incredibly organized, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Everything was exactly as described, making for a smooth and enjoyable experience.One tip for future guests: be sure to bring your own beach towels and toiletries, as those items are not provided.Overall, a fantastic property in a great location with excellent management. Highly recommended!

Condo was very clean as was the entire Thunder Island property. Nice large balcony overlooking a portion of the bay. Within short walking distance of the beach, restaurants and the convention center. Would definitely stay here again.

Love the bay view
Very nice unit that has been updated. Great view of the bay anytime of day. Will consider renting this one again next year.

This was our second time staying in this condo and it was just as wonderful as the first time! Condo is super clean and fully stocked with anything you need. Has brand new showers in both bathrooms that are fabulous. Condo is in perfect location in OC and the bay view is amazing! Owner is accommodating, helpful and responsive. We are already looking forward to returning next summer!!

Riptides 5 stars for days.
Great place. Very clean. Perfect location. Beautiful sunsets. My family has stayed in ocean city several times and this was by far the best unit and overall experience we have had to date. We will be back for sure.

Amazing bay view!
Condo is in a great location and has amazing bay views! Location is very convenient. However, there was sand on the floor in the kitchen and in the shower in the master bathroom when we arrived so cleaning wasn’t very thorough. Beds are super hard and uncomfortable. Overall we had a great vacation!

Great unit in Thunder Island
Very nicely redone condo with gorgeous kitchen and ample amenities. Have stayed at Thunder Island for 20 years in various units and this one is top notch. One suggestion - more bathroom towel racks. Also if there was a folding beach towel rack I did not see it.

A few small glitches
Instructions for TV in each room desperately needed as each was different. Hard time getting things to 5th floor when told there were carts
A simple dolly in front closet would have helped this senior citizens as n. Rental agency told me this was on second floor. Enjoyed my stay just not totally enjoyable.

This was our first time staying in the Riptide condos and we were very pleased with the experience. The host established good communication with us and checked in with us to make sure everything was good to go. If you are a fan of a good bayside sunset the views are tough to beat ! From the balcony to the various picnic tables and benches facing the bay there's plenty of spots to relax and take it in. There was plenty of small supplies available for use in a pinch to save you a trip to convenience store and we found 39th street to be a great in between location not too far from Delaware or the inlet.

This condo was very clean and well-maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week at the beach. The view from the balcony was great. The location was an easy walk to get to the beach and many other places we wanted to go to.
