Perfect spot!

We chose this rental because it's half a mile from family we were visiting. The location was perfect, close to grocery store, walgreens, and fun places to eat. Everything was clean and it was a perfect set up for our family of 3.

Pros: Great location! We walked daily to coffee shops and made a run to the grocery store on foot. Very comfortable layout and practical for a family of four. Temperatures stayed cool even in a heat wave. Parking was easy. Location was quiet. Cons: beds and bedding could be a lot more comfortable. The AC units were noisy and bulky. The trash cans were right outside the front door and were smelly and drew flies. Considering the reasonable price point, I was still happy overall.

Great location! Very walkable to all the best places. It was a great home away from home. The kitchen had a complete and clean setup.Very thoughtful and welcoming touches throughout. We appreciate being hosted by someone so wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay! Our host Belladonna was friendly, easy to communicate with, and offered suggestions for nearby things to do! The unit was very comfortable and had plenty of space for two adults and a small dog staying for a long weekend. We loved seeing the upstairs neighbors two adorable friendly pups! The location felt safe-we took many walks to the New Seasons market and to Alberta Street and saw many people walking around the neighborhood. We had no problem finding street parking right outside the house. Would stay again!

Great stay

Good stay. Great location. Kitchen needs some non stick pans and a whisk. The couch needs to be upgraded to better quality. There was a mini crib available, which worked out great. The king bed was a plus!

Wonderful neighborhood, with great proximity to Alberta street shopping and restaurants. We stayed 4 nights, with our 17 and 21 year old children. The place was very clean, comfortable, and supplied everything we needed. (comfortable beds, quality bedding, extra fans, games, kitchen ware, even a washer and dryer). The walls are thin, so you can hear the upstairs neighbors- it was not a problem in our case, but might be if you have littles who go to sleep early. Great place, would reccomend.

Great!

We stayed with our toddler, this place had everything we needed, owner was extremely accommodating. Neighborhood was perfect. Would absolutely recommend or stay again if we travel back to Portland.

everything and more than expected

Clean, perfect location to walk to eat, drink adventure. Host was very very nice and answered all questions, offered lots of great suggestions, included a brochure for stuff to do around town. The house was in perfect condition. We will certainly try to stay here on our next trip back.

Charming with a great location

My family and I spent a fun weekend at this compact and extremely convenient suite. Space was a little limited for a family of five but nearby restaurants, shopping, and yoga kept us busy all day and evening. We had everything we needed and beds were very comfortable. Bella couldn't have been a more gracious host. Thank you again Bella!

Adorable Condo in Alberta Arts NE

This small but beautifully decorated condo has all the amenities a guest could want. It is decorated with many homey touches in a contemporary style. Huge pluses are the king sized bed and air conditioning in a heat wave in Portland. Having just been in a vacation rental that was awful and not from Homeaway, I really appreciated all the special touches our host provided. Everything was well equipped with many amenities. The Alberta section of Portland is up and coming and now the happening place. Even geezers such as ourselves have fun in the many cafes and restaurants in the area. It won't comfortably fit more than 4 people, but definitely a lovely little place to stay.

Excellent location, neat place, and excellent communication with the owner. Definitely recommended.

This apartment is located a block away from some really nice restaurants and yet it's very quiet in a great neighborhood. We're a family of four with two kids and we were looking for something in this area in particular. We're so glad we found this place. Communication with the owner was easy. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The apartment itself is neatly organized, everything is labeled, and the amenities are excellent.

Clean, modern and conveniently located.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Bella's perfect 2-bedroom house. We were so conveniently located near all the restaurants and fun shops in Alberta, and only a 12-minute drive to downtown. We loved walking the neighborhood and admiring all the beautiful houses and gardens. The house was stocked with everything we needed, even a crib and high chair for our young child! We couldn't have asked for more. It was also really nice to have the washer and dryer available. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone, particularly families with kids. We look forward to coming back!! Thank you!

Great location. Would be my top choice if looking for a place to stay again.

Very clean and modern. Owner is easy to work with and the location makes it easy walking to distance to great restaurants. If you want to go further out an uber is usually just a few minutes away. Thanks for a great experience.

A wonderful stay!

This VRBO was just the accommodation we needed. The surrounding area is quiet and the sounds of little feet upstairs was short lived. It's located in an area with plenty of shops and eateries within walking distance. It is only a short drive to downtown Portland as well. Bella had the unit well stocked and very clean. Having a washer and dryer right in the unit was a selling point for our stay! The bathroom had a full tub and shower and plenty of towels for our use. My reservation was made at the last minute and Bella was very accommodating. She was also very prompt in returning the security deposit. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and would choose to stay here again. Thanks, Bella for a great stay.

Great location!

My children and I love exploring greater Portland, especially our own front yard: the creativity and vibrance of Alberta Street – the restaurants and food trucks, galleries, and shops that our neighborhood has to offer. Extracto Coffee, Salt and Straw Gourmet Ice Cream, Bollywood and Petite Provence are some of our favorites.

Of course, we love sharing Alberta Street and the Foxchase Addition hub of restaurants, bars, bakery and coffee shops with other families, too. And, we hope you will love it too!

Northeast Portland and, specifically, the Alberta Arts District offers the best of the The City of Roses: so many incredible eateries (restaurants, food trucks/ street carts, cafés, breweries, and more!), shops, music venue, yoga, bars, pubs, and other creative outlets, just minutes from our front door. Best of Portland in all of it’s diversity, Portland, Style.

You can walk to the grocery store and pharmacy, liquor store or dispensary. We have EASY access to several public transportation routes and highways to downtown, the coast, Columbia Gorge, Wine Country, Hood River, and Multnomah Falls.
Alberta Street is also close to downtown (just ~15 minutes by car) and very convenient to the airport, too. Free Ample Street Parking for your car(s).

To us, this is the best of all worlds in Portland. This home in Alberta Arts actually chose me! I was helping someone else find a home, and this one popped up.

The Ginkgo House is a newer building in a lovely residential neighborhood, and it has everything you need. Over the years, we’ve learned from our guests, as such, were go beyond the basics (fast WiFi, amenities) to adding everything from hip furnishings and a washer/dryer, right down to complimentary toiletries and a fully equipped kitchen.
Our cleaner is exceptional. We accept dogs. It is a privilege, and it comes with a cost, but it's way cheaper and your dogs will be with you in this dog loving city! !
