This stunning guest home overlooks Lake Chatuge and is located just minutes from the towns of Hiawassee and Young Harris Georgia and the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. There is easy and quick access to boating and fishing on Lake Chatuge. The Ridges Marina and public boat ramp are less than 1mile distance, so bring your boat and jet skis. Great restaurants, cozy movie theater, quaint little shops, and much more are very close. Only 5 minutes to Young Harris College, 10 minutes to Hayesville, NC and 15 minutes to Blairsville. Close by are Helen, Blue Ridge, and the Chattahoochee National Forest. Many access points of the nationally renowned Appalachian Trail are just a short distance from your home. This is a perfect bungalow to recharge your batteries with all the room and creature comforts of your own home in the city. Relax and enjoy the peaceful views of Lake Chatuge, the forest covered slopes nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. See the lighted mountainside at night from your perfect view on the large back deck. Enjoy the fresh air, cool, calm waters, and especially the peace and quiet of this area with friends and family. We are confident you will want to come back again and again. Don't forget, this is a pet friendly rental with a fenced in yard with a dog run, so you are welcome to bring your 4-legged friends.

4th of July Getaway

The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It's in the perfect location: close to the Marina, shopping and restaurants. Plenty of parking and dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great place for lake and mountain activities. Lots of room for a large group. Starter supplies provided not as plentiful as other VRBO rentals we have experienced. Good restaurant choices close by.

Great week

House was great. Beds very comfortable. We had 8 in our party. Bedrooms very spacious. Loved the deck and sunroom. Lots of chairs for everyone on the deck. Views were beautiful. House is not directly on the lake but the view makes up for it. Sunroom has lots of room as well! We had a great time.

We also needed something pet friendly. Our GPS didn’t give us accurate directions but the property managers who rented to us did. They made things easier. There was also a storm the night before and you could tell they came early to clean up the property because everything looked nice (inside and outside). We enjoyed the home and the property was very pet friendly. The property managers were kind and helpful. We will be back again and would highly recommend to anyone!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Updated nice view and glasses in porch lake home! Home has all the amenities you would need inside and a great space to relax. Need to laminate your wifi code and source and also put that info with your arrival instructions. For those with teens and who work to come stay at your place, they should not have to take an hour to figure it out off a piece of scrap paper in the desk by the computer. People use WiFi on their phones, for internet access on kindles, notebooks, laptops, etc. to relax and also do work like check emails at your rentals home. Your home is lovely and we enjoyed it very much. My only suggestion for improvement.

Family Vacay at Lakeview Vista

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Vista. We had our family of 10 plus our dog. The home was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen worked out well for our large group as we cooked meals there each day. I was so happy about the yard. There was a smaller fenced in area for my dog that was perfect for a quick potty break and also a fenced in larger yard for play time. Perfect! The sunrise view from the balcony was glorious! I loved the many different sitting areas that were available too. Lastly, the whole process of paying for a checking into the home was very smooth and easy. Other than 2 minor issues (a wobbly downstairs ceiling fan that kept us awake upstairs and a door that would not lock) I would definitely recommend this place.

What a difference a year makes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this cabin last year and were amazed at how great it was. We ended up renting it again for this year, but we were surprised at how unprepared it was for our stay. We arrived to find that it had not been cleaned at all. It was still in the condition it was left by the previous renters. Full disclosure, we were 30 minutes early to check-in, but there was no way the cleaning crew that arrived 15 minutes before check-in could've gotten things clean in time. They left around 430 with mold in the shower and pee stains still on the toilet. We had to call 2 times to get them out there. The house and view was still great, but the overall cleanliness of the place was less than desirable.

The property is in a fantastic location with beautiful views. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The downstairs king-size bed was very soft, and one side of the mattress sat noticeably lower than the other. Fortunately, we had extra beds available, so our adult guests were forced to use a queen instead. The home would also benefit from a thorough cleaning, and the deck could use a power wash. With a few updates, this would be an even better rental.

Quick trip to the Mountains

The house was great! It would be awesome for a large family. BE WARNED the house sleeps 11 but they do an additional charge after 5 people. We noticed after staying that there was an additional charge for a 6th guest, which we did NOT have and they would not return the funds. Please check itemized charges.

Beautiful house

We enjoyed our stay, beautiful view, very clean and well equipped, but the master shower handle kept falling down needs to be replaced, master bedroom fan does not work and shower in the basement cannot be used because water does not drain at all. Other than that, we loved the place and will be coming back next year.

Lakeview Vista

The house was amazing. There were so many places to hangout from the patio, to both screened porches and the nice open concept kitchen/dining room/living room space. The view of Lake Chatuge was amazing. The only thing I can say negative is there was no access to lake directly in front of house. There's an empty lot for sale in front of the house but we weren't sure if we could go onto someone's private property. I would definitely stay here again.
