In the heart of Paris, in the Montorgueil-St Denis neighbourhood where life is lived well: traditional restaurants, bakers (croissants, baguettes), 19th century building in dressed stone. Apartment completely refurbished in 2009, situated at 37 rue Greneta Paris 2°, 2nd floor with lift, not adapted to the handicapped, ideal for a sightseeing or romantic break. The culture and charm of Paris can be appreciated better on foot: the museum of modern art, 'Le Centre Pompidou-Beaubourg', Chatelet-Les Halles, the banks of the Seine, l’Ile de la Cité and 10 min away : Notre Dame and the Louvre museum, not forgetting the luxury boutiques of the Place des Victoires, and the trendy shops of the Marais neighbourhood.

Great apartment. Great host. Was there for 2 weeks on a business trip. Perfect for one person. Fun neighborhood. Air conditioning worked really well in the end of the heat wave. I will be staying here again for sure. Thank you.

We loved the location of this apartment! It was close to many of the tourists sites with fermi g like we were staying in an area of locals. We loved the neighborhood vibe, st night, and the wide variety of fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The apartment felt very Parisian and exactly as advertised, it was quaint and had all the amenities we needed including air conditioning.Our host was communicative and kindly left us a bottle of wine upon our arrival. Our only complaint was the mattress, it was much too soft and sagged in the middle. It might be time to replace that, Other than the bed situation, we would highly recommend this apartment for your Paris visit!

We renovated the apartment in January 2026 and the mattress was commissioned in February 2026, 8 months ago. We are attentive to your remark about this soft mattress . We have just verified it and if we re-observe it we will change it. Merci d avoir apprécié le quartier, la location et toutes nos attentions pour vous permettre un excellent sejour. Nous avons fait rénové l appartement en janvier 2026 et le matelas a ete mis en service en fevrier 2026, il y a 8 mois. Nous sommes attentif a votre remarque sur ce matelas trop moelleux . We stayed twelve nights in this well equipped apt in Les Halles area. Minutes to three Metro stations. Dozens of good restaurants to walk to. Spotlessly clean, lots of natural light. Good AC and insulated windows to block street noises were appreciated in the scorching weather. Checking in was a breeze, thanks to detailed instructions. A supply of coffee, tea, condiments, personal care items, and even a bottle of wine were waiting for us. We would stay there again and recommend it to anyone who wants to feel that they are « living » in Paris for a while.

Cute little apartment! Beautiful balcony and location was quiet, yet central. Stayed for 2 weeks and loved the elevator/lift. Had a washer and dishwasher. We walked everywhere! It was close to the metro, great bistros, and so much more! It worked perfectly for us (my husband and me). Would go back!

Fantastic location and the perfect size for my husband, daughter and I. We were able to walk everywhere and take the metro. The apartment had everything we needed and checkin was so easy. We really appreciated being able to check in early to drop our luggage off and get a quick nap. 100% recommend.

The apartment was in an excellent location close to shops, restaurants, metro etc. The host was very friendly and helpful on our arrival as we had problems finding the key box location. The unit had a nice little balcony to sit and relax. The cleanliness could have been better. Dirty cups and cutlery in dish washer, long black hair clogging shower drain we had to unclog shower on first use. The worst issue was the mattress, it sagged in the middle we slept poorly and had uncomfortable nights sleeps. A comfortable bed and pillows are essential to enjoying a holiday. The lounge seat also sagged in the middle and was difficult to sit on. It was awkward to sit when when trying to eat off the coffee table. Both mattress and couch should be replaced. No proper table to eat from. We found it difficult to clean the floors as no disposable cloth wipes provided for the mop head. Nice new compact kitchen to work in but unfortunately the issues already raised let down the quality of our stay. We really couldn’t recommend the apartment to others while these issues remain unchanged.

We take great care to ensure that everything contributes to our guests’ comfort during their stay; we have therefore taken careful note of your comment regarding the mattress. Although it is from a reputable brand and was replaced very recently (February 2026), your comment echoes another observation we have already received; we will therefore look into replacing it. We are committed to not disappointing the guests who have been loyal to us for 17 years and who leave us wonderful messages of satisfaction.

Perfect location, quiet street, close to metro and several restaurants & shopping within just a few blocks. Air conditioning saved us from hot summer days.Host was very communicative and check in and out instructions were very clear.Would stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

My sister and I stayed here and couldn’t have been happier with the apartment, the neighborhood, and the proximity to attractions and metro stations. Yves was prompt with responding to my messages both pre-stay and during our stay. We will keep this gem in our back pocket when planning future trips to Paris!

Anniversary Trip

Our stay was amazing! The apartment had everything we needed and was just as described. Check in and out was super easy and the host even left us a bottle of wine when we checked in. The location was great as well, just a 5 minute walk to the public transport. Several places to dine and shop. I will definitely go back!

Great location

Close to cafes, bistros and the local boulangeries. Walking distance to centre of Paris. Loved sitting on the balcony, soaking in the local ambiance.

Best neighborhood in Paris

My sister and I in our 70’s stayed 12 nights in this fabulous apartment! So enjoyed coffee in the morning on the balcony and dining many times on Rus Montorguiel! We even survived the loudest night in Paris per year —Fete de Musique—thanks to the practically soundproof balcony doors!

Fantastic location

What a wonderful apartment located in a terrific neighbourhood. Easy access to everything with lots of restaurant and transportation options nearby. There is a party atmosphere in the area but it is quite quiet after 11:00 pm so you can still get a good sleep! We will definitely return and recommend this property!

Very convenient and pleasant appartment in the centre of Paris, in a quiet part of a very lively neighbourhood, with easy access to all the major areas of the city. Very helpful and pleasant property manager.

Overall it was a great stay, and we appreciated that Yves Andre was able to accommodate us on short notice. In our opinion one of the best neighborhoods to stay in while in Paris.
