We really enjoyed staying at Christian’s apartment, it had everything we needed for our stay. It was a great location and very quiet at night. Restaurants, groceries, bakery and cocktails are all within a 5 minute walk.

The apartment was very bright and spacious, with lots of natural light from the windows. It had 2 air conditioners, so it was cool and comfortable in July, and we all slept very comfortably. The neighbourhood is clean and quiet, and the apartment is a short walk from a beautiful park, many restaurants, and transit. Very convenient to get around. We had a wonderful stay, and were able to travel around easily with the trains and metro. I’d definitely stay there again.

In a pleasant residential neighborhood just two blocks from a perfect Parisian park. Beautiful, traditional apartment. 6th floor meant nice rooftop views and was never a problem because of the convenient lift. Host was very responsive and pleasant. It was a great refuge from the central city and the basis of a great vacation.

I have come to Paris 20 times and I have had many wonderful stays but this is the first time I really felt like a friend had loaned me his beautiful home. A quiet, peaceful and truly lovely apartment.

Thank you, Christian, for allowing us to pretend to by Parisians, even if only for a little while.First up: the photos undersell the apartment, it is even more beautiful in real life. This is a real home, not a rental apartment that feels anonymous. The living / dining room, with three big windows, was flooded with light during the day, and the study and bedroom, also facing SSE, were similarly light.A spacious and well-kept bathroom, and a well equipped kitchen, made it very much like being at home.Christian was able to meet us on our first evening, in spite of a prior engagement, and kindly showed us how everything worked. A lovely host.We ate at a couple of nearby restaurants: "Magnum 150cl" and "Il était une oie dans le Sud Ouest" as well as at the Boulangerie du Parc Monceau, and used the markets at Rue Poncelet and Rue de Lévis, both a short walk away - and there were many other restaurants that we would liked to have visited, if we had had time.The area (Plaine de Monceau) is quiet and very safe-feeling, and a chance to get a feel for what it is like to live in quiet splendour in Central Paris.All in all, highly recommended.

Amenable and flexible host. Large , elegant apartment. Safe neighbourhood adjacent to beautiful Parc Monceau. Multiple Metro and buses within a few hundred metres. I will come back - if Francois will have me.

Home away from home

Location was excellent and close to everything and where we needed to go. As a visitor, I enjoyed seeing the Eiffel Tower and Champs Élysées everyday; and shopping the local bakery.

Great home base for a 2 week stay!

Spent a lovely two weeks in this gorgeous space. Was perfect for three adults. Location was great for getting around the city and proximity to a fabulous bakery and Monoprix were a plus!

Beautiful and comfortable apartment that was a great home base for our family’s recent Paris visit. Hosts were very gracious and communicated well. We were so grateful for the air-conditioning units - though we missed the worst of this summer’s heat waves so far, it was still quite hot during our stay and the AC made sleeping much more comfortable.
