The Big Cabin is in a great central location for exploring Humboldt County. It's not far from the Eureka Zoo, Downtown Eureka, Arcata, or the beaches. The view from the front bay windows looking out on the bay is great. The hosts check in and out times appear to not be flexible at all, and that may need to be considered when you are booking this home, otherwise it was a very comfortable stay.

The cabin worked out perfectly for our extended family. Kitchen was well stocked with everything necessary to cook meals with. Would be happy to stay there again if we’re in the area .

Great get away location

Great views, deer and bat visitors, nicely located to all the hikes and places we wanted to visit. Lots of space for family and dog friendly.

The cabin was very nice, but the big downstairs bedroom was not heated. The kitchen was very well equipped.

Very comfy accommodations. Plenty of beds six in all plus a futon Great location/easy access re; Eureka and Arcata. Quiet, would do it again!

Beautiful Views and super comfortable

Such a beautiful property and great views. It was close to trails and the zoo. A little dusty but overall wonderful.

Quaint and rustic

Very nice stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. Not pretentious or fancy, but very comfortable. We were visited by a doe and her fawn on the last day!

Quick trip for wedding planning

This was a charming house that fit our needs well. The weather was wet and wild, pounding rain that night and we felt very snug and comfy. Would definitely stay here again!

Earthquake

We sure enjoyed our stay. Sad that the earthquake interrupted our stay. We loved being on the skirt of town. Beautiful views and very spacious in and out.
