Nicely remodeled cottage

This is a comfortable and nicely appointed house in a quiet neighborhood. There are thoughtful touches like a fan, extra bedding and towels and a well appointed kitchen with basic condiments in the fridge. We will definitely return on future visits.

Amazing!

We loved our stay here!! This home has everything you need. There were plenty of sitting areas and comfortable beds! The backyard is fully fenced and private . The dogs and our family really enjoyed it. We will be rebooking.

Great Place to Stay in A Quiet Neighborhood

The home is immaculately maintained and is exceptionally clean in a quiet neighborhood with on and off street parking. It is centrally located to Historic Downtown, the Zoo. Winco (Grocery Store) and Ferndale, a 30 minute drive away. I would definitely stay here again.

A Great Find

This was the nicest rental I’ve ever booked. Very comfortable but a lot of thought was also put into the appearance. I felt safe there and the few neighbors I spoke to were friendly. The backyard has a nice seating area I occasionally enjoyed. Well-stocked and the hot water on-demand was awesome.

Convenient location

Very clean and neat property. It was perfect for us and our puppy. Convenient to 101 for going to local sites and tourist attractions as well as necessities like grocery stores, etc.

Spruce Cottage

One of the cleanest, well stocked homes that we've stayed in California. We appreciated the back yard area, off street parking, and closeness to area amenities. I would definitely book again.

Spruce Cottage was perfect for our family!

The house was clean, up to date, and had plenty of room for 7 of us. We had adults, 2 teens and an infant. The back yard was great for the kids to play and plenty of room for everyone to relax. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with everything you need to cook and clean. We will definitely be back!

Short Family Vacation

Spruce Cottage offered adequate space for four adults, a 15 year old and an almost 4 year old. The large backyard was wonderful to relax in while the kids ran around. We used this place as a home base for a few days exploring the Redwoods parks and surrounding area. The neighborhood is a bit off the beaten path, so not really a lot to do within walking distance, but it was quiet and we could easily drive to various attractions. The kitchen is well-equipped and we had space for all six of us to sit down together for dinners. Communication with the host was great. Zanobi was quick to respond, and all house rules were very clear. All in all, a great stay. If we return to Eureka, we would stay here again.

Wonderful Visit with Grandkids!

We stayed at this property while visiting with our grandchildren. It was just like being home! Warm, comfortable, clean and everything we needed to make our stay just right. It is conveniently located to grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, gas stations, and the zoo. We’d stay here again and recommend it to others.

I'd stay there again.

Nice, close to everything. Owner was responsive and helpful. Back yard was a little jewel. Dog friendly for sure. A few toys to distract kids. Very satisfactory

This is a very nice property.

When my wife and I opened the door the first word out of our mouth was WOW. The pictures of the property are accurate but place is much nicer than the pictures. The place was very clean and well maintained. Master bed was comfortable. We had zeros issues with anything. I would stay again if we're ever back in the area. Very nice. Thanks

Eureka Getaway

We enjoyed the house - so clean, great beds, nice backyard and well stocked kitchen. The owner was great to deal with - very responsive. It was a nice and safe neighborhood. Would go back again!!!

Perfect

The house was perfect!!! It was very clean and felt cozy. Neighborhood was calm and quiet. So much so that deer were strolling down the street!! Our host, Zanobi, was so kind and responded to ALL my questions and concerns. And while on our way back home he texted to let us know we forgot our laptop! He offered to ship it back (we’re definitely reimbursing him for it) without hesitation. We appreciated his honesty in letting us know. I highly recommend this place. It was very easy to get to and everything seems to be within driving distance 3-5 min away!!! Only a few minutes from Sequoia Park Zoo. I would definitely stay here next time we’re in town. Thank you Zanobi!!!

Beautiful, clean, well appointed home

Check in was a breeze, the house was exactly as described, and the location was quiet. More than once during our stay we looked around and said, "what a nice house". It's clear the owners take pride in it. It was fully stocked with anything you would need, the fenced yard was great for our pup, and the street was quiet but located close to attractions. Would stay here again.

Great place, quiet community, communicative host.

Very nice, clean, and quiet home. This is perfect for family and friends, especially for extended stays. Was up in the area on business during a rainy/snowing winter month and it was warm and cozy. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.
