Cute and comfortable space with fun and spunky decor that set the mood for a great stay. The home was even nicer than the online photos depict with nicely cared for grounds and impressive oak trees with great shade. Very cleanly kept and healthy, live plants in the home show how the property is well cared for. Owner was friendly, responsive and easy to work with. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Absolutely amazing place to stay!!! Great location & the property had everything we needed! Even the welcoming snacks were a special touch after our long road trip. Steve was a fantastic host!! Thanks for everything! Highly recommend!!

Steve, the host is awesome. He is so proud of this incredible property, with huge, gated lot which was perfect for our 2 small dogs. Perfectly landscaped. We were able to park in front of the house, inside the gate, which was perfect for front door unloading and loading. There is also a carport. Fully furnished kitchen. We did a lot of cooking. He made sure we had everything we needed. The fresh vase of daises when we arrived was a really thoughtful touch. Thank you! Patrizi's quaint neighborhood restaurant, 5 minutes away, is a must. We will be back!!

What a wonderful stay at a beautiful property - it is indeed a “Retreat”! Steve is an outstanding host, very friendly and responsive, and a wonderful guy as well. The house and yard are impeccable. Everything was up-to-date, and the space was so welcoming. We’re already psyched for our next visit!

Steve was a great host. The house had everything we needed. It was a nice quiet neighborhood, we felt safe and it was only about 20 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Communication was awesome. Any questions we had he answered promptly. We enjoyed our stay for a long weekend.

We really enjoyed our time at the Retreat! Steve was very responsive and thoughtfully left welcome snacks for us upon arrival. The hot tub was a big hit with our kids, and we spent time every day sitting in the yard enjoying the breeze and nature. The house was clean and well kept, and the neighborhood is in a great quiet location.

Such a beautiful property, and Steve was a wonderful host! Steve takes a lot of pride in making sure your experience is top notch - clean house, great communication, quick to respond to questions and easy going. The house is close by to some great restaurants and some trails. We had about a 20 minute drive to downtown and spent a day down there. Definitely recommend The Retreat!

The Yard was great for my dog to roam around and we enjoyed the peaceful scenery. My friends said hot water upstairs was out, but otherwise very pleasant stay.

Hill Country Getaway

Very well manicured. 3 grandsons loved the hot tub, hammocks and abundant room to run around the property.

The location is good for Bee Cave and Austin with lots of places to eat and shop. The owner left some breakfast options for us, which was nice. There were only 4-5 forks so we had to wash them after every meal. The hot tub water was a little smelly so we only got in it once. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for staying with here at the retreat and taking time to write a review. I do wish you would of contacted me during your stay as I would of loved the opportunity to rectify your concerns. Im surprised the hot tub had a foul smell as it was fully drained and cleaned the night before your stay. I will of course look into this and purchase more utensils. Have a great summer and thanks for leaving the house in good order.

The property was accurately presented in the description. It is spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The hot tub is in good condition. It has a yard and secure parking. It is in a nice, quiet, neighborhood. There is an excellent, dog-friendly, Italian restaurant nearby (Patrizi's), so you don't have to leave the area for dinner. I will strongly consider booking here for future trips to Austin.

Beautiful Yard

Absolutely gorgeous yard. Great place to have family gathering and relax under giant Oak trees.

Wonderful stay in a great location

This property has beautiful landscaping, great artwork and a really accommodating host (Steve). He provided breakfast food for us, sent excellent directions for check in and made contact to ensure our comfort. We had Our small dog, and the fencing provided great security and privacy. Really enjoyed the stay!

Everything was great. The house was very nice. All of the beds were comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed. The yard is big and nice and the neighborhood was quiet. Steve responded to all of my questions very quickly too. Highly recommend!

Perfection in every sense of the word. I left my pillow that I had brought with me and he had offered to send it to me, which was not necessary, but very appreciated. Steve was always easily accessible.

Austin Escape

Amazing place to stay in Austin. Very comfortable house with everything you could need. Beautifully landscaped and clean. Hot tub was a bonus. Great places to eat nearby. Very peaceful.

Great property! Attention to detail, truly a home away from home.

Everything went very well. Steve was a friendly and attentive host. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Property was well maintained and the hot tub was an added bonus!
