We celebrated my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday. Beautiful home with plenty of space for our 10 guests. The pool and backyard were great.

This house is amazing! We got two families together at this place. 4 Adults and 6 kids. They had a blast with the putting green and swam a bit. There is enough space to spread out with two living rooms. The place is close enough to zip down to the beach. We ate outside every meal we were home.

We had a great stay here! Nelly was a fantastic host, we had everything we needed and the place was very clean with fun amenities!our family of 6 had plenty of room (and then some!) Would definitely stay here again.

Every year, we have a siblings retreat since we all live in different cities. This year we chose to meet in Ventura. While the location of this home was a bit farther away from town than we expected, we loved the quiet, comfortable neighborhood. Parking was so convenient which is very important as you age! The house itself was extremely clean and comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, all of the bedrooms were upstairs and one of our party is wheelchair bound so we had to set him up on a sofa downstairs so that’s a piece of information that would have been helpful but that’s on us, not the host! Overall, we had a beautiful couple of days and truly enjoyed our stay. We felt very welcomed and at-home! A suggestion for the hosts…it would be wonderful if you could update your cookware a bit! The beauty of renting a home is the ability to prepare and enjoy family meals and it’s so much easier with nicer cookware!

Great stay! Six of us came back to VTA for a wedding. Host was accommodating to my fragrance allergies regarding air fresheners & scented household products. Plenty of rooms/space to not feel overcrowded. Backyard got lots of use, whether it was swimming pool, hot tub, or just coffee on the patio. Kitchen had multiple convenience appliances like coffeemaker & keurig, electric kettle, air fryer, & toaster. Already had many k-cups stocked. Everyone had enough pillows in their respective bedrooms. The living room(s) furniture was comfy & there were tvs in both, plus one in the primary bedroom. Only a few critiques: 1. the bedrooms could use some curtains bc that sunlight comes through the blinds & wakes you up at 0645 whether you’re ready or not; 2. the front porch & entryway stairs are a bit tall which created an issue for one elderly guest, but it was manageable with help from other guests. That guest also limited their use of the bedrooms & bathroom upstairs so keep that in mind if accessibility is a priority; & 3. could’ve used more towels since most were women who used 2 to shower so I had to wash a load. Excellent communication before & during stay. We thought there was an internet service outage & host quickly responded with a service update. The neighborhood was peaceful. Kids playing outside waved as we drove buy. Multi car driveway & curb parking available. It was a wonderful experience. Everyone was pleased with my pick. I’d book it again without hesitation.

Perfect for our Family of 5!

We have three children, ages 16, 13, and 9. It’s hard to find a place where everyone is comfortable and happy and has their own space, but Nelly’s home was PERFECT!The layout is nice, the neighborhood is quiet, and my golf loving son had a blast with the putting green. Everything was clean, the laundry room made packing easier, and it was nice having a driveway to park in. Our only complaint was that it was too chilly to enjoy the pool, but we’d love to come back during warmer weather to enjoy the whole back yard.
