The cottage/chalet was very clean and well appointed. Comfortable bed and a million dollar view. The fall colors and beautiful lake were really something! Dawn, the host was very good at communicating with us. We would highly recommend this location.

Adorable cabin, perfect size and I love the layout. Had everything we needed, nice size bedrooms and comfortable beds and living furniture. Very clean and taken care of. Outdoors was really nice, picture perfect view of the lake and large deck to hangout on.The location is great for our fall color tour, central to everything. It's out in the country but close 12 minutes from Gaylord for shopping and pretty much anything you need.Would love to come back in the summer time to enjoy the lake and all the fun lake toys!Great place to stay, would recommend. 10/10

Property was as described. Comfortable and perfect for my wife and another couple long time friends of ours. Great relaxing weekend. Host was very informative. View of lake was great. Fire pit next to lake made for great campfires in the evenings. Check in was easy with a door combo. Highly recommend.

What a great little cabin on a lake. Fit our needs perfectly. My wife and I had great weekend where we did absolutely nothing and it was so relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay, unfortunately there was a terrible heat wave and strong storms the week we stayed so it was a bit warm in the cabin. Fans helped. You just can’t plan for that! Dawn was great to communicate with and we were able to check in a little early. Lake is probably good for fishing but not swimming. Old Depot restaurant in Johannesburg has good breakfast!

The cottage was just as described. It was very clean and well equipped with all the kitchen items you would need. Even though there was no air conditioning we just opened the windows and there was a nice breeze coming in. ( it was in the 80’s the two weeks we were there). It was nice to have a washer and dryer as we were there for a two week stay. It is a very quiet and peaceful setting. The fishing was great and our grandsons were on the dock from sun up to sun down catching all kinds of fish. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings down by the lake. We would highly recommend this cottage to others looking to get away to relax and enjoy the quit and peacefulness of nature. The host was also very easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had in a very timely manner.

Amazing host, amazing property! Will definitely be checking for availability here on my future trips up North. Perfectly situated around Gaylord, Atlanta, Boyne and so many more destinations, this spot is a gem in the winter, can’t wait to stay again in the spring!

Great stay! Everything was very clean and cozy. I’ve never felt more at home in rental property. It’s in a lovely location, close to skiing! The hosts provided good communication and check out instructions were easy. We look forward to coming back next year!
