Great location but needs to be Maintained

Awesome location and home. The house was not cleaned properly upon our arrival, there were roaches, cobwebs, the fridge constantly leaked, left over dirt from previous vacation renters. The televisions in the living room, common area upstairs, as well as one of the kids rooms were not working properly. We had to manually turn on the TV and the remotes did not have batteries. The bathrooms had leaky faucets, as well as a small hole in the upper ensuite bathroom. The screws were also loose in the main entrance lock. If the property was maintained efficiently this would have been a 5 star rating. All we desire is that the property be maintained. Overall my family enjoyed our stay but these things affected our stay.

Nice House

The house itself is nice and has plenty of room. There are just enough kitchen items to cook what you need. The check-in process was PAINFUL. The realty company should explicitly note before arrival or when they send out the pre-registration forms that anyone that makes a payment to the reservation will have to give all of their information (DL image front and back and card they paid with image front and back) in addition to the person who's name the reservation is actually in. We were informed that I filled out the paperwork incorrectly due to all of the extraneous information they required that wasn't explained up front just as I was getting off the plane. So, in addition to getting all our luggage and rental cars, I had to fill out forms on my phone and take pics of credit cards and driver's licenses while on a shuttle to the rental counters - and then they said it was blurry! Meanwhile, my group of 11 people, including my 80-year-old mother-in-law, were exhausted and just wanted to get to the house. We finally received the code to enter, but it was a nightmare I really didn't need at the end of a LONG travel day.

Great Location

The property had everything that we were looking for. The pool was exceptionally nice to have during the hot afternoons and evenings. We loved the location as it was very close to all of the big attractions we were wanting to do (Disney, Universal, shopping, etc.). We felt super comfortable being in a gated and secure community giving us one less thing to worry about while on vacation. The house itself had ample room for 7 (mainly adults and one teenager) allowing each person to have their personal space. It was clean and had all the amenities for cooking (utensils, pots, pans, etc), open floor plan where we were able to gather around before and after our excursions. Small negatives that I would say is that the appliances (washer/dryer) is very old and is in need of an upgrade, but works as it should; one of the bedroom mattress is worn and you could feel the springs; some of the trim was repainted to hide the rot, but replacing it would be better; there were no hangers to hang any of your clothes., Again, these are small issues in our overall experience and we loved being in the property.
