Such a great place! The house was roomy and had everything we needed for a great weekend. The walk to the beach was easy, loved the provided beach chairs and towels! Will definitely want to stay here again. Hosts were great at communication as well!

Great Stay

We had a great stay. Communication with the property manager was great and they were responsive. Location was peaceful and perfect for our family vacation.

Great spot right by the lake!

We loved our stay in Marla Bay! We were delighted the place is even better than the photos— we loved having our coffee on the balcony with a view of the lake! It’s an amazing location and a short 5 min drive to Zephyr Cove. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great Location

The location of the property was amazing. Right near all the beautiful scenic views. we were able to walk down to the lake and enjoy a nice quiet sunrise and sunset! 100% recommend the place.

Great house and location!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortably fit 5 adults, 1 toddler and 2 babies. The neighborhood was a perfect location. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay again!

Family Vacation for Snowboarding and Beautiful Zypher Cove.

The whole process was easy and the house was very clean. No complaints. It was our first VRBO and the actual cabin was better in person than the pics. Very cozy and the fireplace was icing on the cake. Great location.

Love it

Property was well kept and in a nice neighborhood. Even though the lake was at full capacity with not much beachfront, we still had access and made use of the lake. It was beautiful and the home is only a short walk from the beach.

Great house and location

Easy access and communication with the owner, Judi! Only disappointment was that we couldn’t use the BBQ when there wasn’t any snow. Thanks Judi!

Susanna: Thank you for choosing us. It states on the website the BBQ is put away for the winter in October and put back in Spring because normally there is too much snow on the deck. Everything was great but we did not have hot water, well not enough for the people staying there. After the second shower, the hot water would run out.

Wonderful House

We had a fabulous time at this property. The house was comfortable, well designed, and well stocked. We enjoyed playing cards on the deck, and doing several puzzles that were provided. The public beaches nearby were lovely, and Stateline was just a few minutes away. The owner replied quickly to any questions we had.The only negative is that there is no beach on the property this year, at least not when we stayed.

Glad you enjoyed the property. The lake must have risen since the previous week as those guests were able to enjoy the private Marla Bay beach. IT is unfortunate that the federal water master will not let water out of Lake Tahoe and has not for the past couple of years. This is making all of Tahoe beaches narrower, creating terrible erosion and utility issues all around the lake. Have a wonderful summer and thank you again for choosing us.

Great Tahoe Trip/Accommodations

We went to Lake Tahoe with our family of 4 and another family of 4 and this home was clean, spacious, and had all the things we needed. We highly recommend this place if you're heading to Tahoe as it is right on the lake with private access and a quick drive to the village. We would definitely stay here again if we go to Tahoe. Communication with the homeowner was quick and easy. Judi even texted me to make sure I got into the home okay as well as letting us know about the thermostats as the temperature was taking a little dive. Great vacation!!

Beautiful home with plenty of space!

Felt like home, we could all fit at the table for meals & games. The filtered view of the lake and bird song in the morning were spectacular! The vaulted wood panel ceilings were incredible and the kitchen, bedroom restroom situations were more than adequate. The management was perfect and we would definitely recommend this amazing home. We wish we knew and were disappointed the lake was too full for our fam to access the private beach. Also, the grandkids didn’t like the feathers poking out of the couch. Great family vacation!

Thank you! The Lake Tahoe area had a record breaking winter. We are very fortunate to have all the water after the drought leaving a narrow beach for your enjoyment. We cannot control Mother Nature.

Cleanest and nicest maintained house we have ever stayed in

We (family of 4 with 2 boys) had a wonderful time. We have stayed at VRBOs for over a decade in multiple countries and all over the US and I can say with absolute certainty this is the cleanest and most well maintained house we've ever stayed at. The devil is in the details and even things like the blinds were in great shape and did not have a speck of dust on them. Also, the house had everything you could need. And the owner was really nice and contacted us several times to see if we needed anything. Location was also great. We skiied at Heavenly, and both the CA and NV side were less than 15 min away. You can walk down to the beach in 3-5 min, which was really nice one afternoon. All in all, a great week!

Home away from home

We had an amazing time at Lake Tahoe. This house was the perfect home base as it is situated near everything including an amazing private beach a short 2-3min walk down the road. Seriously, the lake is visible from the drive way and is only a short downhill walk. There was more than enough space for 4 adults. The house was incredibly clean, quiet, and cozy. Well stocked kitchen and spacious rooms. The view from the dinning room/patio deck was a wonderful surprise. Judi was extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful when it came to house questions. I can not say enough good things about the overall experience and home. 10/10!

Home was spotless, They have an amazing cleaning crew. It was very spacious home with a peek view of the lake. Kitchen was very well stocked although some of the pans could be replaced. Living room couches were very comfortable and a nice TV. Some of the furniture is very dated and beds were not comfortable. Outside area needed some big time cleaning up. Construction debris and huge piles of wood and lots of weeds. There’s a day care across the street with kids yelling and screaming 8-5 everyday and 2 nights had events that went to almost 10 with lots of noise. Not very relaxing.

Christine I believe this is the first time in over 20 years we have received a three star review. We strive to have happy, repeat guests by providing a comfortable, clean home for enjoyment. The Presbyterian Conference Grounds on the neighboring property to the north has a youth day only camp in the summer. No one has ever been disturbed by them in the past. It is not a day care. Sorry for all the night time noise which we discuss with their property manager. The rest has been noted and will be addressed. Thank you for choosing us. Enjoy the rest of your summer

Communication with Judi was excellent. If I had a question, Judi got back to me right away. We communicated through the VRBO site. This house is great for a family get together!She is an excellent host!
