We had a great time! Jonna was great to work with during our planning phase. She was very responsive and ver knowledgeable. The property was perfect. We used the pool table, shuffle board, and hot tub. We also used the pool at the community complex. The water was just like bath water. The house itself was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Ski trip

Awesome property with all the amenities…clean and comfortable. Decorated beautifully for Christmas. Only negative was low water pressure in the showers. Overall a wonderful property!!!!

Great family getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house had a great layout, perfect for spending time together while still offering plenty of space for everyone to relax. The Christmas decorations were a beautiful touch, making the home feel extra cozy and festive. The activities in the house were a huge hit—playing pool, shuffleboard, and poker kept everyone entertained throughout our stay. The home is nestled on the mountain, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend this property for a fun and memorable getaway!

Our family of 11- with 5 kids under 5 had a great stay. It was perfect as each family had their own bedroom/bathroom- bigger kids slept in the bunk bedroom. We did wish we had brought a baby gate but used coolers instead to block the stairs! The hot tub was used daily and I did a lot of baby rocking in the 2 sets of rocking chairs on 2 different sides of the wrap around porch. We had a fire and s’mores on the deck, too. It was really easy to get anywhere we wanted from Lead. We went to Deadwood a couple times, Bear Country (kids favorite), Mt Rushmore, men golfed, women to the spa, Reptile Garden, etc. We cooked meals in the beautiful kitchen, but also found lots of fun places to eat around the area. FYI- don’t bring coffee filters- there are about 300 there!. We highly recommend staying at Gold Strike Inn!
