We really wanted a place that had a great kitchen to cook meals and this was the perfect place for us. Plus the AC was a lifesaver after being out driving and trekking through Yosemite it was great to have a nice chill spot to lounge and relax. If it wasn’t so hot outside we would’ve used the outdoor features but we’re hoping to return soon!

Wonderful property! Super clean and comfortable with great beds and bedding. Well equipped and felt like home away from home. Air conditioning worked well! Would definitely book again!

Clean, comfortable, well supplied kitchen. Very nice and quiet property. About 1.5 hours from Yosemite valley. Easy to find, good parking.

We saw beautiful sunsets from the front porch. Beds were fairly comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The house looked to have new floor and kitchen recently updated which was nice. The town of Mariposa is lovely and we enjoyed two delious restaurants. The host was incredibly responsive to our questions. The only negative I have is the house could have used a little more deep clean in the corners. Overall the house met our needs.

Could you please let me know exactly where it wasn’t good enough cleaned . My cleaners are very detailed and thorough and they would like to know where they missed.

Great spot! Very clean, lots of ameneties and fun things to explore on the lot. Great location about 1.5 hours from Yosemite welcome center and 10 mins from Mariposa

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at this dog friendly cottage. Inside was spacious , clean, and nicely decorated with a well equipped kitchen. The owner was very responsive and communication was easy. Please note the exterior is rustic and not manicured. The interior was excellent and we highly recommend it.

This cabin was cozy and very comfortable. Kitchen is upgraded and well equipped . It was a wonderful quiet respite from the bustle of city life. Void of noise and light pollution, Tim was a wonderful host, very responsive to our needs. I would recommend this cabin to my friends

Amazing place!!!!

Our stay at Tip Top Cabin was perfect!! Check in was so easy and we had everything we needed staying there. The home was clean and more spacious than I thought it would be! Will definitely be staying here again

Super cute cabin on a large property with gorgeous sunset views. House was clean, well stocked, and the A/C was very nice after staying in Lake Tahoe with no A/C. Perfect for our overnight stay before Yosemite.

Truly a pleasant experience and a lovely, clean house with all the amenities. We were very tired when we arrived and we were able to drop our luggage and go right to bed and worry about unpacking the next day. Owner was very pleasant and helpful and we definitely want to stay again. The best VRBO we’ve had yet!

The price was good for the location and seclusion. Unfortunately we did encounter some issues. The property was overgrown so we didn’t feel comfortable using the fire pit. It was a little bit more rustic than we expected from the pictures. The shower was small. The property was well supplied. The owner was great and did very well on communication.

We just weedeated the area 2 weeks prior to your arrival and again yesterday prior to your review (it is hard with guest booking everyday to get to it as much as I would like). I gave you a full day refund after you stayed there all day and then complained at 10:30 at night. I am sorry you did not have a good time and I wish you well on your journey.

It had everything we needed. Great location. Gorgeous sunsets. Quick trip to Mariposa or Oakhurst. Host was very accommodating. We will be back.

Stayed here for a road trip to Yosemite and Sequia - we honestly saw more wildlife on this property than we did in the park! We especially enjoyed the deck and rocking chairs each night. Host was excellent with communication - when our flight was delayed they even went out and adjusted the light timer so we could see when we arrived much later then we had planned! Property was very nice and clean, very private. Everything was well kept.

Overall, the property was great. A few things I noticed were the floors were utterly filthy. We had to go out and buy swiffer mops because our feet were black after 20 minutes of walking around. I also had found several dirty dishes when we went to cook, had to clean them and then use them. One of the beds is super uncomfortable, so we used the other, and I would suggest to bring your own pillow because the pillows are extremely hard, or extremely flat. Overall the property is fine. I had a great experience check in check out and communication. Oh and it is in the mountains, so expect bugs. We found a scorpion in the laundry room day 1 which was cool, but not with a toddler around haha. Overall good experience, just needs a few tweaks to be perfect!

I was never contacted about any issues… I even have a text saying how much they like the place.. both beds are identical and were purchased in the same day a year ago… there are extra pillows and they are different thicknesses..

About an hour from Yosemite but a GREAT little retreat to come back to after a day of hiking. The view of the sunset and sunrise is gorgeous and the cabin gives you the peace of being in nature with the chairs on the porch, corn hole as an option, and a great living room space to all play a board game together. We will consider staying here again when we visit the park again!
