Oasis hideaway

Words cannot express how comforting this little gem is! It's nestled in a small canyon. If you like nostalgic and yiu like a cozy cabin vibe, your stress will melt away here. Minutes from town and walking distance to fairgrounds. Creeks, trees, huge rocks and a wraparound meadow surround you. I will be returning.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful homey feeling cabin. Everything was clean and well stocked. We loved our stay, and Lisa was so kind and helpfull when an emergency came up. Would love to come back for a longer stay

Wonderful Stay

Everything about the house and location was excellent. Big property and our dog got to roam and explore. My daughter and I didn’t want to leave and expect to be back.

Loved this property

All the comforts of home, clean, comfy, well stocked, spacious, charming. Lisa was very responsive when we had questions. All in all we are extremely happy with our stay and will surely come back again.

Perfect accommodation to visit Yosemite

We spend 4 days at the property and really enjoyed our stay! The house is loaded with anything we needed! The cooling system works well and kept us chill during the heat wave. Bedrooms and bathrooms are nice and well equipped as well! Would definitely recommend

Magical place

This house looks and feels like a true labor of love. It is very clean and well organized. Downtown Mariposa is 5 minutes away. There was plenty of space for our dogs to walk around.We'd definitely come again!

It felt like home!

I really enjoyed my stay. The kitchen was stocked with all of the amenities, cookware, dishes, and silverware we needed. The house was clean and inviting. Las but not least, Lisa the property manager was very helpful with any questions I had, and felt like an old friend.

Loved the home. Fully supplied kitchen. Comfortable bed. Lots of seating options. nice private patio for morning coffee. AC ceiling cooler and ceiling fans kept us comfortable in 95 degree weather. (It was pretty noisy though.) It was centrally located, had adjustable power settings and worked well. Would recommend the place.The only issue was initially finding it. It was down a small country road with a dirt driveway and we didn't get any driving instructions. Fortunately google maps worked precisely and after we drove completely around it, we recognized the home from its pictures. After that everything worked well.

Beautiful Setting

The cabin was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Very clean and roomy. The back patio has fantastic boulders providing a beautiful setting as well as privacy. Set on 3 acres, the meadow surrounding the property was lush with a stream at the properties edge. We loved the location. We had an event to attend at Mariposa Fairgrounds, the cabin was close enough to walk to the party.

amazing house, same as renter

Me and my family decides at the last minutes for our trip to Yosemite. The house is clean and very beautiful. The most importantly, provides everything we need. We stayed during winter, however the house is surprisingly warm. Terri also provides many info/interesting spot around the house. During our stay, we accidentally broke a lamp but Terri is very kind with it and being very understading, and provide all the help we need to recover the charge. Best experience. Definitely be back in next spring!

Outside is trashy

The outside of the rental looks like a shanty town. It was very hot when we arrived, 96F. There is no central AC. It’s a large attic fan but it was not on. It took all night to cool the house. The tv, dvd, & firestick did not work. Good thing there was Uno!

I wish you would have let us know about the outside area, as sometimes wild animals get into the trash. Our property manager would have been more than happy to stop by to clean up any mess outside. We pride ourselves on a clean, tidy property that is in the country. With regards to the TV, DVD, and Firestick, my nephew rehooked everything back up after your stay and all works perfectly. We list that the house does not have central AC on our website, and the cooler for the house works just fine for keeping temperatures comfortable. Thank you for sharing your feedback!" Overall good experience

The inside of the property was clean and met all of our needs for 4 adults (2 comfy beds and 2 full baths) with nice kitchen, dining and living areas. The outside, surrounding area left much to be desired, but was ok for a short stay if you plan to spend your time indoors.

No real heat in dead of winter

House was clean, plenty of room. But tv was for a technically savy person, not me. Only space heaters which wasn't adequate for dead of winter in a 1940s 2x4

Excellent stay at Buckeye & Boulders

This place was perfect for a family with kids. Lots to do in the house (books, games, internet) and lots of property to walk around on. Fully appointed, nearby grocery and restaurants, less than an hour to Yosemite valley. I really hope we get to stay here again!!

Great long weekend in mariposa

This place is more spacious than it looks. The kitchen as a ton of counter space, the laundry area is large, and the rooms are also big. The beds are comfortable too. The only con for me is that the guest bathroom shower is very small. Other than that, this place was great. Lots of extra blankets and towels, and a VHS collection I haven’t seen in 20 years. Fun games and toys for small children, the backyard is also pleasant and easy to spend time in. The heaters all work well and over all the house is cozy and comfortable.

Perfect 10

My husband and I spent 6 days in this lovely home. Quiet, good location and had everything one would need. It even had a washer and dryer. We saw more deer and beautiful birds in the yard than we saw in Yosemite!
