Couple things were not working(tv in pool room and half the lights in pool room), and couple things probably should be replaced(seal on fridge and hot-tub cover), but overall the price was perfect for everything that was available, host was responsive and nice. Beds were amazing and everyone slept so comfortably. Bathrooms were clean and updated. I would definitely book again and recommend if you have a large group.

The description of the property is missing a huge piece of information. The windows do not open. Some windows are painted shut and some windows have winter plastic on them. The house was extremely hot and we couldn’t get any ventilation. The kids were miserable. We left before being there for two hours. Host refused a refund and thought it was because there was no AC. I made my complaint perfectly clear it was the lack of ventilation being available. There is a kitchen window open but a main kitchen wall blocks any air flowing in. Host told VRBO we could have left the front door open as there was a screened in porch but we have a 1.5 year old so that’s not very practical. I don’t recommend booking this property during a Michigan summer.

We had a wonderful time at this home...used the pool extensively--temperature was great, used the hot tub--was fun to sit in the hot tub while it was snowing on us. Also used the game equipment and the grill. The large TV in the living room was nice. Kitchen and dining area worked great for us.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The pool was great but I wish is was a little warmer. Game room was a lot of fun. House was clean. Beach near by was outstanding. Since it did not have air conditioning I would recommend more windows with screens and windows that open.

The host was very responsive. House was very clean amd had ample space for several people. Pool and hot tub was a wonderful amenity. No sharing with loud and rowdy hotel guests AND we could have a midnight swim if we wanted. It snowed while we were there and had accumulated overnight before we were supposed to leave. Host had someone plow out the drive and shovel the walk early enough for us to have a clear path out. That was an unexpected surprise. Definitely want to stay again.

Relaxing place to stay

Overall we had a great time. We loved being able to swim and the city is beautiful! Downfalls, cleanliness, the yard, and house outside needs work. The cleanliness was ok except there were dust bunnies all over! The yard is incredibly small and the grass was not mowed. There was a hole in the ground with brick and stone in it that could have been dangerous if one of the older women had tripped on it. The siding of the house outside the pool is coming off and the wood inside is exposed and looking rotten. The chemicals in the pool and hot tub were a bit much-somewhat overpowering. Besides the things that can be updated, cleaned and fixed we still had a great time! The place could use a bigger deck off the back for more people to relax on. That’s what we were missing from other places we have stayed.
