Beach getaway

Great property, close to the beach and restaurants, both walking distance. Close to the Zoo also! Got away from the heat of the valley for a nice cooler weekend.

Wonderful location!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The check in process was very easy, beds were comfy and the house in general was very cozy. Love the location, and walking distance to the beach, coffee, wonderful bakeries, restaurants and shops.

Home away from home

I would highly recommend, the only complaint I have was our stay was too short. It's a perfect location, the home had all the amenities we needed. We brought our 11 year old blind dog and the back yard was so perfect for him. I hope to come back again.

Lovely place to relax.

This was a nice place to visit together with our family that is in the Santa Barbara area. I loved being able to walk down to the shoreline.

All about location....

This property was clean and attractive....but the five star draw is the location. Minutes from the beach and a beautiful walk along the coast, and minutes from the main street in Montecito with excellent restaurants and shops.

This place is a gem!!!

The location is amazing with a short walk to our favorite Butterfly Beach and also to Montecito Coast village. The property is beautifully decorated and the kitchen has everything. Furnishings and beds are comfortable. We were so comfortable there! We highly recommend and hope to stay here again next year!!

Wonderful Choice in Montecito

What a delightful place in a prime Montecito location! The owners, who couldn’t be nicer, have done a beautiful job—the furnishings were elegant, the linens were luxurious, and the kitchen was well-appointed. The backyard was where we spent much time in ideal weather. This is a happy place, and we hope to return for another stay soon!

Montecito

This was perfect for my husband and me and our dog. The little patio was nice )though it didn’t get much use with 4 days of rain). Liked being able to walk to the ocean and Montecito Village. It had everything we needed.

standout location; everything necessary included, mediocre furnishings, train noise, poor yard y

the location was worth it, quite expensive for the caliber of furnishings, dirt yard, etc., but all needed items were provided. The owner was pleasant and accommodating, lived upstairs.

Comfort & Hospitality with neighborhood charm

Our family loves staying at this perfectly appointed property and have stayed here twice now with plans on returning . What is special about it is the spaciousness and nicely decorated rooms including very comfortable beds and linens . The kitchen is stocked with all one needs to barbecue in the shaded back yard on elegant patio furniture . It’s a 4 min walk to beautiful Butterfly Beach and 10 min walk to Montecito’s farmers market . When staying here you really feel like a local nestled in a quite charming neighborhood . I would highly recommend this property

Lovely place/great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kerry’s property. The furnishings are elegant and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. The space is bright, airy, and sunny (when it isn’t raining!). Location is great - just a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach and access to the pedestrian path that runs along the coast. Also 5 minutes in the other direction to shops, cafes, and restaurants. Definitely a pleasing home away from home.

Perfect Location

Super close to restaurants and Butterfly beach. Plenty of room for all of us to work / zoom call. Train and general traffic noise on Olive Mill Road Would be one downside. Not a big deal for us. We’re city folks 😀we would rent this again !

Great location

My family and I enjoyed a week at this property. Walking distance to Butterfly beach and Montecito village. Scenic bike ride to Santa Barbara beaches and harbor. Short drive to some good hikes and other beaches. Would love to go back again when not in a pandemic so we can take advantage of the nice restaurants within walking distance. This visit we cooked dinner every evening and was disappointed with dishwasher, but a minor inconvenience. Kerry, property owner, is very nice and helpful.

Very nice lodging with perfect location

If you want a home base where you have a five minute walk to either a beautiful beach (Butterfly Beach) or downtown Montecito with its shops, restaurants and CVS then this is the one for you. Additionally, other beach cities line the 101 both north and south, and inland hiking and further exploration is just a few minutes drive away. The owner was very responsive and cared about the quality of our stay without being at all intrusive. The fenced yard worked well for our dog and for outdoor dining and barbecue. All in all, a great stay at this home away from home. 🙂

Very clean unit in a terrific location

The unit's location, within walking distance to both the beach and the Montecito village, is excellent. The unit was very clean. We did not use the kitchen etc., The only issue we had was that the unit is located on a very noisy street and the noise from the cars and the train is something that is constant. We had a good time.

Location Location Location

This property is perfectly located. Short walk to the beach - short walk to town. It’s really fantastically placed in Montecito. Yes - it is close to the train tracks. The latest train comes about 10pm and the early train comes at 7am but it’s not extremely loud. Great fenced in back yard so we let our pup roam in and out. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back soon.

Good times

Property is well located in a great neighborhood, two long blocks to incredible beach. Perfect for walking the dog off leash. Hosts were nearby and helpful, but not intrusive. One couch in living room was pretty, but not comfortable to sit in. Springs collapsed when sitting.

Great Location

Very close to village and waterfront; a near perfect location. If train noise disturbs you then look elsewhere, as this place is half a block from the tracks. Large living room, but in need of an update on one couch. Some rooms are a bit dark. Second bedroom has twin beds and is small. Owner has unit above rental so you don’t have a stand alone house. Never met the owner, but he was quick to comply with requests. I would probably rent again.

Great Location in Montecito

Great stay. Listing is accurate, 5 minute walk to Butterfly Beach, 10 minute walk to Montecito restaurants. Property is the ground floor of a house and the owners are upstairs but totally separate entrances. Owners were very helpful and assisted with delivery of an unplanned FedEx, but you can hear them walking around, though it wasn’t a problem for me. Train is close by, but not a negative as the whistle doesn’t blow after 10pm, is very infrequent and moves on quickly. Very clean property but the location is the main selling point if you are looking for walking in Montecito, and the beach in Santa Barbara is also an easy morning walk. Small backyard very convenient for my dog and a nice afternoon read. I would definitely stay here again.

Best Location in Santa Barbara/Montecito Area!

The owners were generous and cordial from the start! I emailed them with questions and get a quick reply. Check in was easy and the owners stayed to themselves, upstairs, in their completely separate flat. They park and enter in back, whereas guest park and enter in front. The house is beautiful and has everything one would need on vacation, including beach chairs and towels. The beach and the town of Montecito were short, easy walks from opposite directions. The highways and thoroughfares were very close, making the drive to Santa Barbara, the Mission, the Wharf, etc., quick and simple. This will be our go-to home away from home from now on. Also, we ordered gourmet meals from Chef Edie Robertson, who also gets 5 stars in every catagory.
