Comfortable and inviting apartment close to Old Town, Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Waverley train station, various tours, and tons of great cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants. Host Alison was very responsive and most helpful for advice and questions. It was a great place to relax and rest up from a day’s exploration. We did not see enough of Edinburgh so we may have to stay at the Causewayside apartment again sometime!

Lovely flat

We really enjoyed our stay here. The area is easily accessible on foot, by bus, or by taxi/Uber. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent!

I stayed here for two nights with my family for my graduation at the UoE. The location is excellent, the apartment was very clean and well-equipped, and the host was great at communicating. I would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay here for our week in Edinburgh! Amazing access to the University & all other areas of the city. Access to a diversity of fantastic food (we ate Scottish, Japanese, Spanish, Italian & Chinese). The home was in great shape & perfect for us: 2 BRs, good bath & kitchen/dining enough for a small Thanksgiving dinner. Lastly, the Old Bell Inn—only steps away from the front door—is a gem. So grateful for the memories. Thank you, Alison!

September, 2022

Moving our son to University, we found the apartment to be a perfect fit for our needs. The kitchen was well furnished, the sleeping arrangements comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, and the owners quickly responded to our questions. The bus route was a quick 4-minute walk away, there was a Tesco in the same block, and several restaurants close by. It was a wonderful stay!

Great Apartment, Superb Area

Booking was straightforward. Host and managing company communications were clear and prompt with useful, friendly advice provided. Access was clear and our arrival was straightforward. The apartment was clean and bright. The location was excellent for Summerhall and a short walk to the Meadows. No problems with any Uber or Deliveroo drivers finding the apartment. Thank you for a great stay.

Great flat in Edinburgh

This was the perfect property for me and my daughter. We were over in Edinburgh from the US for a week to visit family. The location is a bit out of the city centre but perfect for us. The property was just 5 minutes walk from my brothers house and 10 mins walk from my mum's flat. Although it's on a busy street it was very quiet at night. We had no trouble sleeping thanks to the double glazing. All the things that we needed to make our stay comfortable were provided. We visit Edinburgh a lot and we will definitely try and rent this flat again.

Absolutely fabulous stay at the Causewayside Apartment. Perfect location, quick walk into town through The Meadows or many bus options next street over. The apartment was clean, bright, spacious, really felt like a home away from home for us. Great for a family of four! We hope to stay there again on our next trip to Edinburgh. Thank you for making our stay so easy and comfortable.

Great location

Wonderful location! Didn’t need a car the whole time, could walk to everything. Place was spotless and very comfortable!

Wonderful Apartment

Lovely apartment. All amenities (and more) provided. It was great to get "home" after a busy day sightseeing. Easy walk to the centre. Quiet location. Great Pizza shop next door (Zia Italia) with a real Italian Chef. Great Indian restaurant across the street (Pataka). So all in all a wonderful place to stay (family of four, 2 teenage children)

Nice property and very well equipped and clean. We liked the location.

Suited our needs, as it was just the two of us we could afford to eat out every evening, all the restaurants we ate at were local and very good. Alison made lots of contact with us and gave us good information about the local area etc. I hope the festival will return next year as we also hope to return.

Amazing apartment - great location and everything you need

From the booking process to the arrival information and the stay itself everything was wonderful about this apartment. It was furnished well and we liked the added touches of fresh flowers and tea and coffee. The apartment was warm and very clean. The location was ideal with easy bus rides into the city and a local pub and Tesco a few feet away which was great. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment - thank you.

Nice to be back everything still neat, tidy & working

Stayed here before. Communication with owners very good, couldn't be more helpful. Definitely will be returning as we visit Edinburgh frequently. The apartment is just as described, very homely, comfortable & stylish.

really nicely presented, clean, well equipped

A very nice apartment just a few minutes from the main attractions in Edinburgh city centre. All amenities very close by. You don't need a car if you stay here! The apartment was very well presented, everything worked fine. The kitchen and bathroom are in very good condition and there's plenty of space for four in two bedrooms. We will be booking again soon!
