The house was incredibly clean and the owner very friendly. Great communication. They do have strict property rules, but they were flexible and accommodating when I asked to add someone to the reservation last minute. We got to see a group of wild turkeys roaming the property in the morning and it was a great location for exploring the local area and state park! Would absolutely love the chance to stay again.

The place was spotless and very comfortable. We attended a wedding at the Villa nearby, and the location was perfect! Because of the seclusion of the property, the hosts have had bad experiences with guests in the past and are a little more uptight than past experiences with VRBO, but they were very nice and accommodating nonetheless. Several other people live/work on the property and there are lots of restrictions on where you can and can’t go, so you don’t have a true free rein as we expected in the mountains. Overall, our experience was comfortable, and we’d stay there again.

Glad you all enjoyed your visit and would rent again. It would have been helpful if all guests read the ad, as we suggest, because it clearly states the woods around the house are not part of this rental. This is why the property manager has to meet with renters at arrival, because the ad isn't read and then guests make incorrect assumptions. We respect our neighbors and do not want our guest trespassing on their property.
