This house is very spacious for a large group of family and friends. Plenty of sitting and gathering areas. We were a group of 10 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host was extremely attentive and responsive to all questions asked. Will definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for my wedding and the house truly exceeded my expectations. It’s a BEAUTIFUL home with plenty of space for groups. My entire family loved it. Great communication from the host, very clean, & plenty of parking. We plan on visiting again!

The house was so much more fun for 6 women than a hotel. It is too much to ask not to park on grass and one of the bathrooms had a moldy tub/shower. It is a great old house though and we had a fun stay.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The house was warm and comfortable, and the host was fabulous. We highly recommend this older home for large family gatherings. Our small dog enjoyed and deeply appreciated the large yard.

Absolutely wonderful! Historic home with lots of charm in a great location. The house was very clean and well appointed. The owner was great to deal with and they even had extra tissues sent from Amazon knowing we were in town for a funeral! Will definitely stay here again!

Great host from booking to checking in and out. Accurate listing, and perfect for our Christmas weekend with 8 adults, 7 kids plus a baby. Quit neighborhood, stores nearby when needed. Cool old house with three floors and two stairways that gave us space to be together, and space if our own.

The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. Filtered water was in the fridge and Keurig coffee maker had plenty of pods. Our bed was very comfortable with a memory foam mattress. The towels were thick and soft. The owner checked in with us at the beginning and end of our stay. We booked at the last minute and because of the excellent communication, we were able to get instructions for entry to the home and other details.

My sisters and cousins enjoyed our two-night stay very much. The host supplied many thoughtful touches throughout—lots of amenities—and was very responsive. The home is large and historical and has a charming quirkiness in restoration and furnishings. The photos online seem as if the home is out in the country though it’s right in the middle of town. Regardless, there were no problems with traffic or noise. While there is ample room for many cars to park, the driveway is long and narrow and has no turnaround. There is no parking on the street. Other than that, it was the perfect place for our cousin reunion—lots of places to be together yet homey spaces for individual privacy. We would definitely rent again.

This is a lovely property. When the renovations are finished it will be amazing. We loved everything about the house as it was built in 1920 and still has many of the original details. The house has everything you need for large groups. The kitchen is well equipped with every gadget to prepare meals. Checkin was seamless. Nyi was quick to answer text messages. Stores are nearby too. I certainly recommend!5 for sure..

Great house! A bit eclectic, but comfy. This is an older house (built in 1907), but it had everything we needed for a week-long stay. Three couples, ages from early 60s to early 70s. The layout of the bathrooms and bathrooms was not perfect but close enough (there is a bathroom on each of the three floors, while the bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors and a hideaway bed on the parlor on the 1st floor if needed). Kitchen was well stocked. We spent evenings on the porch off the side entry while enjoying the quiet of the neighborhood. Check in and check out were fast and easy. Excellent communication with the host; all questions answered in short order. The only issue was that a previous renter left a huge mess in the grill, but it is now spotless. Convenient location; short drive to Cumberland and Frostburg; near to grocery stores. Overall, we had a great stay.

As a family traveling with young children, we found this historic beautiful home to be very accommodating. Amazing spaces, nooks and corners to explore and a regal beauty and old world charm! The appliances and amenities were incredible and very appreciated while traveling with children. We especially enjoyed having the aqua pur filtration system as we have a baby drinking bottles, and the ice maker. Quality soaps, shampoos and conditioners were lovely! We use the same products at home. If you have children, you will be right at home here!!!
