Cute and charming with a nice dock down by the lake.. close to town and many places to hike. Full kitchen if you wish to stay in and enjoy the property. Had a great stay!

What a beautiful setting and just what we needed for a long weekend birthday get away! The cabin overlooked a small lake and the steps leading down to the dock trailed through gorgeous foliage . It was a quiet and very relaxing spot with all the things we needed . The location is very close to the town with easy access to all things Highlands. Loved the nearby hiking and the wonderful town.

We loved our stay at Lake Life Love on Mirror Lake! The property was cozy, charming, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. One of our favorite features was the back porch and dock overlooking the lake—perfect for enjoying morning coffee and winding down with afternoon cocktails.The location was ideal, offering a peaceful lakeside setting while still being just minutes from town and all that Highlands has to offer. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and made us feel right at home. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. Erin was incredibly responsive and prompt in answering any questions we had, which made everything easy and stress-free from booking through checkout.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain retreat! We definitely give it

We loved it here. It was clean, comfortable, newly refurbished, had a great view, and was convenient to downtown Highlands and many great natural sites. Highly recommend.

Mirror lake bungalow

Out stay was very nice. The place is well appointed and well situated for a quiet time, but not too far from town. Enjoyed watching the squirrels gather hickory nuts for winter.

Fresh and comfortable.

Very well laid out and comfortable. The description is accurate, the check-in was very smooth, and online manual is very clear. This was an excellent alternative to the local hotels.

Excellent stay!

We enjoyed our four night stay in the Highlands. The accommodations were perfectly situated a very short drive from town which served as an excellent hub for our adventures. The host/owner, Bryan, made sure our stay went as expected. The added bonus- my oldest son and I spent a significant amount of time catching fish off the dock. All in all a very special trip.

Woodland Retreat on the River

Well appointed retreat conveniently located to town and surrounding day trips and activities. Private porch/balcony overlooking the trees and stairs that lead to the riverfront dock below. Convenient having W/D in unit.

Great Location

Clean and cozy. Five minutes from town and 20 min to an hour from other locations near by. We visited Lake Toxaway, Cashier’s, Cherokee and one day we even drove 2 hrs to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Cades Cove.

Wonderful stay

Property was as described and pictured. Everything was new with nice fixtures. We loved the spacious deck and access to the lake as well as the proximity to downtown. The owners were responsive via text when we reached out. Quiet neighborhood.

Perfect Getaway!

Cozy but more than big enough for the two of us. Awesome view of the lake, which has a lot of fish in it by the way. Beautiful views in the neighborhood. You feel like you're secluded, but you're not very far from downtown Highlands. The owners are great to deal with.
