A nice oceanfront unit at a reasonable price. Perfect amount of space for a four man golf trip. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location and very comfortable condo. Great girls getaway, much needed :) 4 Adults and 4 kids The pool and lazy river were absolute favorite for the kids!!

I love the themed bed rooms, the unit was clean and convenient to Kroger and Walmart. The unit was clean and had everything a kitchen need from cook/ corning/silver ware.

The goodCheck in was easy. Views and location is excellent. Maintenance is great.The bad- A non-working tv took all week to get fixed after multiple emails and phone calls to host. Maintenance had to fix door handle to balcony door and a non-draining sink. Jets in master tub do not work.Be warned - lazy river, hot tub and kiddie pool is closed down. Has been for over a month. Host said they were unaware. I only booked for the fact it clearly advertised a lazy river. Asked for a partial discount off room rate- still no reply!

Great place to stay. Felt like home. Very clean. Very accessible to everything. We really enjoyed the Home style feeling while being at the beach.

Kitchen was poorly equipped. Pots were mostly unusable. The inside of the pots were very worn. Could not use. The kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets are in rough shape. Carpets in bedrooms are worn and dirty.Enjoyed the location, views and the Host was great. we ended up eating out most of the time because of the kitchen equipment being unusable for us. When you pay that amount for 3 nights I expect better quality

Great location, lovely view!

9 of us stayed 4 nights, 6/2025. Condo is older, with a few issues, but nothing that detracted too much from our stay. It was fairly clean, just a few crumbs on the table and the balcony hadn't been swept in quite some time. Linens were clean. Our biggest problem was that we needed sheets for the fold-out couch/bed, and could not locate any at all. I tried to communicate this via the email chain used previously with the manager, but didn't get a response. We solved the problem ourselves, as it was bedtime. Note that wristbands are needed in the pool area if security is present. Overall a good stay, with a little updating the condo could be great.

Hey Sandra! Thanks again for staying with us.. just wanted to touch on the comment about no response.. in our check in email we give each guest a direct phone number to us, as well as the VRBO app. You emailed our office after hours which unfortunately is not monitored. But when you messaged us on the app when responded within 2 minutes. So just wanted to expand on that in case folks think we do not respond to any need for help. Thanks again for staying!

Pros:The location was wonderful and the space was perfect for our 9 person getaway. Each room was themed and had little stories about the family with reccomendations. Being on the beach was great and we were walking distance from many bars/restaurants/shops & a very short drive from any other tourist attractions the area had to offer. Check in was easy and seamless. Cons: We walked in and a picture fell off the wall and would have fallen right onto a child’s head if it hadn’t been partially glued the last time it fell. Most of the dressers had broken drawers and closets were missing knobs. The unit had every kitchen tool you could imagine, but didn’t have basic household items like dish soap, garbage bags, cleaning supplies or laundry detergent. There was one fresh roll of toilet paper in all 3 bathrooms when we arrived but no spare rolls to be found when we ran out. (4 days for 9 people) There were also no spare towels (for the bath) and no beach/pool towels available for use which paired with the empty laundry detergent required another trip to the store. While the check-out time was clearly communicated (10am) while trying to pack up 5 small children with all of their stuff we were surprised to find the cleaning woman had already blocked the hallway with a bag of fresh linens/cleaning supplies and was standing outside waiting for us to vacate AT 10 which seemed a bit unlike the Southern Hospitality we normally find in SC. Would come again, just with more stuff!

The host is very responsive and made it easy to check in and check out. This property has a lovely view and the living room area is nice. The bedrooms have tired mattresses and would be nice if they replaced them. The primary bathroom cabinet doors are peeling away from the backing. There are different color and shades of light bulbs in the same fixture. The sliding doors are difficult to shut but they did put in a request to the HOA to replace them. The location is great and the Ocean Bay Club has very good security and are responsive to requests if you need something.

Overall, we had a very nice stay! The unit we stayed in was an older unit but clean and nice! We were disappointed that the jacuzzi and the lazy river were closed during our stay The hot water in the master bathroom sink was lukewarm, never got hot. Again, overall, everything was fine and the weather was delightful!
