Beautiful townhouse on tree-lined street in Logan Square.

Central air. Hardwood floor throughout.

Short walk to Comcast Center, Coxe Park, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Schuylkill River Trail, Center City's Financial District, Barnes Foundation, Rodin Museum, Franklin Institute, Natural Sciences Museum, Rittenhouse Square, Chinatown, The Free Library of Philadelphia main branch, Fairmount Park neighborhood.

Quick trip to University of Pennsylvania, CHOP, Temple, Jefferson, Drexel, Moore College of Art, Philadelphia Academy of Fine Art.

Eat-in kitchen with garbage disposal and dishwasher, and French door leading out to a small private patio.

Second floor open plan with sunny bedroom, small den, large closet, and bathroom with shower.

Third floor master bedroom with large walk-in closet, and spacious bathroom with bath tube.

Basement with laundry, large storage closets and a separate basement entry-exit.

We live a block away in with and would be happy to stop by for a short chat to welcome you if you so desire.

Within two minute walk to buses and within 10 minute walk to train stations. Cabs everywhere close walk to most city's art and historical attractions.

Please note this is an older house and while we do our best to clean we are in the city and critter and pests may enter the house. If you are not comfortable with this, please do not book.

This house is in the heart of Center City a few blocks away from the financial district while on a residential street.

Great location! Everything you want!

Had a great time in Philadelphia on Thanksgiving weekend. Sophie's place was perfect for us. Barnes Foundation is reason enough to visit this town!

Simple, No Frills Stay

Our stay at Sophie's place was just what we needed - a simple place to call home base and get a hot shower and a great night's sleep every night. Sophie was extremely accessible for questions and the neighborhood was perfectly situated steps from Logan's Square and quiet at night. Waking to the birds chirping and the church bells ringing was a treat!

Great place to stay.

Neat and clean. Conveniently located. Very reasonably priced. We walked to most places and were able to get an Uber very quickly when needed. The beds are on the hard side, but I would still recommend this lovely home without hesitation. Thank you for making the place available.

Sometime Simple is just the right thing!

Great townhome in the art museum area - simply decorated but clean, warm and a great location. Sophie was great to work with from booking to departure and responded quickly if I had any questions. This is a 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms (not easy to find in the city at a reasonable price), and Sophie had everything we needed in the kitchen for our short stay. Would definitely rent again......thanks Sophie!

Lackluster and a bit unsafe.

My major issue is the basement door. The place is fairly dusty and could use a good sweep. The layout is quaint but quickly becomes annoying, especially when getting to the second bedroom means you have to pass through the first one. I felt the beds were uncomfortable as they are fairly firm. Having two baths is nice even if the shower stall is kinda tight in the first one. Hot water heater is a good size, able to have multiple hot showers one after the other. Noise from the street is pretty loud. The lockbox was a bit hard to find at night and the door is a bit tricky. Now my major issue, the basement door does not lock. I couldn't even tell if it latched. There was no deadbolt on it and when getting the key out of the lock box I noticed there was a bunch of stuff piled infront of it outside so I looked closer and it didn't have a deadbolt key hole. Upon getting inside the first thing I did was check that door and there's a bunch of stuff stacked infront of it in the basement to keep it shut. Specifically a heavy exercise weight among boxes and such. No lock only a pile of stuff. Which not great but okay I get it, however the door into the basement inside also didn't have a lock so this is very much just an exposed door. Yes it would take some work to get through but it's not enough that I felt safe in trusting that door.

Hi Katrina. I am sorry you did not have a good stay. I hope you find places more suitable to your needs the next time. The basement has its own external exit door with secure lock. The house while actually on a more quiet street. It’s still the city. The kay out of the house does have. an open first bedroom, as it is shown on the listing.

Great host, great location, great stay!

The host, Sophie, was very quick to come over and help us with a situation we had when we first arrived. She was very responsive and went above and beyond to assure that our stay was well accommodated. The home has everything you may need, including snacks in the kitchen and extra towels. The location cannot be any better - close to everything downtown and a very safe neighborhood. My group felt totally secure walking around at night. The home even has cool history to it which added to our Philly experience. I would definitely recommend!

In the right place!

Overall the place was great. The kitchen was well provisioned and the place had a cozy feel. The stairs are no joke, but the location can't be beat.

Great location. Safe area. Family friendly.

Our stay was wonderful. Quick walk to the grocery and the parking garage we found using SpotHero as suggested by the Host. Our Host replied to our messages quickly and helped with any questions we had. The residence was clean and safe for my family. Location was great, close to museums but also convenient for the historical sights. We found breakfast on the way to the Liberty Bell without issue. When we head back to Philadelphia we will be staying in the same place.

Great Host, Basic Property

Sophie is a great host who was very quick in responding to us. The house has all the basics and is 3 floors. I wasnt quite clear that there was not parking on site, but I may have overlooked that in the details.

Sophie is a great host

Sophie was an incredible host. She was easy to get in touch with and even came over when we were having difficulty with the front door. Additionally, she provided some good tips for parking in the city. The house is in a central location with lots of restaurants in walking distance. The one recommendation I would make is an updated Roku for the tv. Several of the aps would not load, but we were able to access the free Roku channel.

great place to stay in Philadelphia

We have a nice stay un Sophie's house! She was really kind and all the time in contact with us when we need it. We recomened to stay, the neighberhood Is really nice, you can go walking everywhere. You have everything you need at Sophie's house.

Great location. Nice space.

The house is perfectly located for visiting attractions on the Parkway, like the Art Museum, the Franklin Institute, and the Academy of Natural Sciences. It is also convenient to the business section. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It worked well for my sister, my daughter, and me. Guests should be aware, though, that the second floor bedroom does not have a door. (The third floor bedroom does.) Depending on who you are traveling with you might want to think about sleeping arrangements. Sophie and her husband were very nice.

Charming and affordable, close to center city, perfect for a weekend stay, Excellent host!!

Party of four enjoyed coming back to this apartment after a full day at the convention center. Less than 10 minute travel time to all our destinations. Sophie was very helpful with any questions we had along the way. We would absolutely stay here again on our next over-night trip to Philly.

Clean, ideal location, friendly hosts

A wonderful home in a prime location! It was tucked away on a quiet street but still close enough to walk anywhere in Center City! The house itself was clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend

Perfect location!

Sophie was a very accessible host and accommodated us for a very late check-in. The home is easy to find and as others have mentioned, in a prime location close to restaurants, museums, parks, and other sites. Street parking is limited due to permit requirements, but there is a lot 2 blocks away on Arch that we used, costing $38/24h. The home is tri-level, with very narrow and steep stairs, so may be an issue for those with balance or mobility issues, as well as children. Otherwise, the home is lovely and perfect for a stay in the city. The thermostat kept us comfortable and we thought the beds were also comfortable, despite other guests' comments regarding the firmness of the mattress. Highly recommend!

Location, Location, Location

This townhome is within walking distance of the majority of downtown tourist sights, restaurants, stores and yet you are away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You don't need a car if you stay here. The townhome was spacious and comfortable. There were two of us and it was nice that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Sophie was helpful with parking suggestions and was flexible with the check in time which was greatly appreciated because we arrived early. This is a great place for the price.

Wonderful rowhouse in center city

Excellent location in quiet neighborhood. Close to museums, parks, transit, and entertainment. Parking difficult, recommend offloading and parking in nearby lots.

This house was built right about 1801 and is one of the many unique and lovely historically certified houses in Philadelphia. The street is charming and quiet even know you are really close to everything tourists come to Philadelphia to see!
