**Please note that these discounted rates reflect ongoing construction at the complex, which may result in intermittent noise during your stay. Guests in these stacks may also experience temporary balcony restrictions while work is in progress. Sugar Beach is a family-friendly Gulf-front complex offering three swimming pools including a kiddie pool, three shaded gazebos, picnic tables, a snack bar called the Sugar Shack, BBQ grilling areas, and a tennis court. Parking:
Parking passes are required at this complex with a limit of 2 per reservation. Passes can be purchased onsite from the security guard for $35 each. Please bring cash.

Check in was easy, room was clean, well supplied. Beach access was fantastic, the swimming pools were nice. This was our first stay and we've already booked our next.

Great location. Parking was somewhat inconvenient -very small spaces and not enough. Convenient to local shopping and dining. The condo served our needs, but please add mirrors! The bathrooms were so small, it would have been better if we could have gotten ready in other places. Washer-Dryer worked great!

Communication was great! Super easy check in and check out! The pools were always clean. Great access to the beach. Parking can be a bit of a pill if you have a truck or large SUV (out of the control of the owner). The condo itself was clean and communication was great. All the appliances worked. The master bedroom shower is a bit small ( out of the owners control) but it was clean. Condo could use some more mirrors. The furniture in the living area didn’t have a lot of support and could use updating but it served its purpose. Main complaint is the mattress in the master bedroom. The first night we didn’t sleep much at all due to sliding to the middle of the mattress. It was like sleeping in a “V”, having to hold on to the edge of the mattress to pull yourself to the edge. The rest of the time we slept across the bed from side to side, thankfully it was a king and we were able to do so. We did enjoy our stay, even with tropical storm Bertha!

Description says beach view. No beach view. Condo needs work. Holes that have spackle and no paint. Mattresses have huge dips in both beds. Master shower originally had glass door. It must have broke. A shower curtain was hung. There is a sharp edge from old frame sticking out. Master shower is extremely small. You have to bring your legs up to wash calves and feet. Paint is peeling extra bedroom. Looks like old water damage. Only 1 person can be in kitchen at a time. Cannot open refrigerator door all the way due to being maybe 2 feet away from stove. The hallways to condo need work. Pipes dripping water on you. Some have exposed wires. Only good thing I can say I can say is that it was clean.

Great clean condo with everything you need to be comfortable. Right on the beach, loved to be able to walk right out the building into the sand. Very easy check in process. Will definitely say again! Thank you!

Great Location, but Several Maintenance and Safety IssuesThe pools were great, the onsite snack and drink bar was convenient, and the covered parking was a definite plus. The beach access and overall location are very convenient.The mattresses appeared to be clean, but they are quite thin and seem to be older. We ultimately purchased a mattress topper to make the queen bed comfortable enough to use. Given the age and condition of the mattresses, I would strongly recommend that the owners use fully enclosed, zippered mattress protectors as an added preventative measure.The toilets are extremely low to the ground. They may not technically be toddler-sized, but they are very close and were uncomfortable for adults to use.The ironing board does not raise to its full height, making it difficult for an adult to use comfortably.An improperly hung mirror fell from the wall and broke. Thankfully, no one was injured, but this could have resulted in a serious injury. Additionally, the handle on the coffee carafe gave way while coffee was being poured, causing hot coffee to spill. The dishwasher also has a very strong, unpleasant odor that seems consistent with a drainage issue.There was no stopper for the kitchen sink, which made certain kitchen tasks inconvenient. The skillets provided are all nonstick, but the coating is peeling badly, so we did not feel comfortable using them.

Overall good stay

Condo was very nice. Issues were handled promptly and professionally. Refrigerator was very clean but outside showed signs of wear. The hallway to the condo was a little scary looking but was actually just old.

One small convenience would have been to provide coffee filters.The mattresses need replaced; not comfortable.Sliding door in living room needs replaced; very difficult to open and close.In my opinion; unit needs window darkening curtains for morning sun and bright entry hallway in building.Enjoyed the location; very easy beach access and swimming pools. The Sugar Shack located on property was an added bonus. It is an overall dated property.
