Our home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, along with a front and back yard, making it ideal for families wanting to unwind. The home features two full sized beds and a bunk bed (full bottom and twin top). Located just minutes from state parks, local shops, ski areas, and family-friendly attractions. The house is quite comfy and well situated for access to everything around! Blackwater Falls, Canaan valley, timberline, etc!! The owner was very quick to respond to questions.

Blackwater Falls Getaway

My adult kids and I took a long weekend trip and enjoyed beautiful weather, shopping, sightseeing and Waterfalls! Please explore this beautiful state! It has so much to offer!

Beautiful house

This is a clean house in a quiet area. Big back yard with a lg porch and breezeway. Plenty of room and anything you need.

The property was more than we were expecting, especially for the price! House got wverything you need from bed sheets to all the kitchen supplies. Nice quiet area, walkable distamce to local shops and restaurants. Black Water Falls and nice hiking trails are 10 minutes away. 2 Ski resorts are 15 minites from the house - perfect location. House is a little older, but in a good condition and very clean! You can see that proertt has been taken care of! Overall great stay! Highly recommend!

Location was great for our weekend stay. Very large living room and nice TV and large kitchen table. Both bathrooms look like they were recently updated and were very clean & nice. House was clean but very outdated with many stains on carpet in master bedroom. Beds were very uncomfortable. Master bedroom had a torn down kitchen cabinet as a nightstand. Better online description of what’s included in kitchen (ie coffee maker) should be provided. Same for exactly where to park. Parking appeared to be on neighbors property. It would just be helpful to know this in advance. Front screen door would never stay closed. There were no curtains on front door window either. It would have been nice for this in the evening.

I’m a photographer and stayed in West Virginia for a few days to attend a photography retreat with my husband. Beds were really comfortable and cute. We absolutely loved the house how it was decorated. However there were a few things we didn’t like like there was no hand soap hardly when we got there and checked in. Toilet paper was stocked but not too many rolls and had to end up buying some hand soap and toilet paper for when we stayed. Carpet in bedroom with floor mirror and vanity had stinky carpet that needs cleaned. Tv didn’t have good internet connection and wasn’t even connected so we couldn’t even watch tv when we had downtime to relax. There isn’t really a driveway more grass and gravel but kind of. There is also a haunted looking barn behind the property that was super weird. Overall enjoyed our stay tho and house smelled good with air fresheners smelling like cinnamon in our bedroom we slept in. Would recommend for short stays but not for long term. Either way tho it’s a cute place.
