Come create memories at our remodeled 3BR/2.5BA home in Woodland Park, Colorado for a perfect getaway while still enjoying the warmth of your home! We work hard to provide a beautiful fully furnished home and of course you do not want to miss out on our AMAZING HOT TUB and patio! We are a family that likes to stay in vacation rentals ourselves, so we have tried to address the small things often overlooked that make a quality experience. This is the perfect home for a family vacation or a couples getaway.

Nothing compares to the gorgeous mountain experience of the Pikes Peak Region. Woodland Park is a friendly mountain town just 16 miles north of Colorado Springs and the surrounding area offers something for everyone: Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, 7 Falls, Cave of the Winds, Santa's Village, Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek/Victor – historic mining towns with major gambling/casino, white-water rafting, hot springs and the best fly fishing anywhere.

If you are looking to settle down for rest and relaxation, our home is nestled back in a large lot, has a beautiful view of the mountains, high-speed internet with Wifi, streaming TV in every room, fully equipped kitchen, full size washer / dryer, large deck and gas grill. This is the perfect place to renew the body, mind and soul. Maximum occupancy 6.

We take pride in guest satisfaction and hospitality. In fact, we originally opened our home for financial reasons, but have continued to rent our home because we love to help others create their own memories.

You have access to the entire house and an our full 1-acre property. There is a detached garage that is not available to renters.

I am available by phone, text message or email for the duration of your stay. I enjoy helping guests with our home but also local attractions. I do ask that you reserve phone calls for 8:00 am - 10:00 pm Central time unless you have an urgent need.

We LOVE Woodland Park! It's a beautiful mountain town with a population of about 7,000 and an elevation of about 8,500 feet. We are not in the city limits but do consider our home to be "in town." Woodland Park has everything you need (fuel, restaurants, grocery and a Super Walmart.

There is some basic taxi service in the area and a shuttle that travels to Cripple Creek. Most of the attractions of Woodland Park are within walking distance.

Our family was appreciative of the wonderful retreat at the Woodland Park Haven for the first days of our Colorado vacation! It provided a great vase for all the places we wanted to visit. The home was exactly as described. Very comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need. The hot tub was the perfect place to relax in the evening after long days hiking trails and seeing all of the sights the area is known for.

Great place

This was a great place to stay for our family. My son and his family were in town and we used this as base camp for our activities. Deer were seen daily. Perfect quiet, restful place to be. The owners were great to work with.

Another successful vacation

We have stayed here several times and we've never been disappointed in anything. It's close enough to tourist activities but inviting enough to just stay home and relax. It is well stocked and has anything you could need. I would not hesitate in recommending this to other familes.

Quiet and convenient

The place was cozy. Tucked in the trees and beautiful night skies! My family and I enjoyed the open loft and living space. We were so close to all the tourist spots. I could have stayed longer for sure!

Perfect Getaway

We rented this cabin for my wife’s birthday when we arrived everything was clean and the cabin was well-stocked we loved all the the core of the Bears and Elk. The kids said they loved how big it was and there is plenty of room to have your own space while also enjoy time together watching movies playing games and enjoying the hot tub.

Perfection

Everything was perfect from the cozy bed, fire pit, and various streaming so I didn’t miss my show. We even chose to stay at the cabin a little later one morning to enjoy the quiet and sunshine . Communication was wonderful and check in process easy. Perfect place to stay in an amazing area.

The perfect family getaway

My cousin and I take are kids on a family trip every year ( or at least try to) We finally made it to Colorado and this was the perfect place. Close to all the must sees in the area and also close to grocery store and other amenities. We enjoyed being able to view pikes peak from the cabin and loved being able to sit in the hot tub after a fun day of hiking and exploring . Jim was a great communicator through that whole process

The cabin could not have been more comfortable. The cabin was well appointed and we felt like we were being at home during our stay. We'd want to have the opportunity to stay at 619 S Woodland Ave in Woodland Park during our next trip to the Colorado Springs area. Woodland Park Cabin

The property was excellent and we would highly recommend. This was our first visit to Woodland Park and found it to be a quiet little town in the mountains. Our son and family live in Colorado Springs so we traveled back and forth - about 40 minutes. The scenic drive is breathtaking. The owner provided local recommendations and could not have been more helpful! We hope to return in the future.

Wonderful Stay!!

We enjoyed our vist and would love to return one day. There is a wonderful view of Pikes Peak from the backyard. We had a lot of fun grilling and playing the yard games outside as well as enjoying the indoors of the property. There is a lovely gravel pathway for a walk behind the property. Great location to local dining, shops and recreation. Jim was wonderful when we needed help or asking for ideas. You wont be disapointed!

Cozy Getaway

This was a lovely cabin for our family. Was very clean. We enjoyed hanging out, snuggled up in the living room watching movies during a snowy weekend. The hot tub was wonderful and we were thankful we could bring our pup with us. The host was very communicative. We had a little glitch during our stay, but Jim was so helpful, it really wasn't an issue. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Cabin, Great Hosts!

We had a wonderful time at this property! Jim is an excellent host and provides a wonderful place to vacation! I would definitely come back! We had a total of 6 adults, a teenager and a baby. We loved it! Near every tourist attraction and a grocery store right down the street. The only thing we didn't enjoy too much were the mattresses, but that doesn't bring my rating down. Clean, comfortable, beautiful view and a hot tub! Thanks so much for such a great place to stay!

lovely getaway

We stayed at Woodland Park Haven over Thanksgiving and it was a great place to be. The hot tub was awesome and the kitchen had the tools we needed for turkey day. WPH is close to the store which was great as we’d forgotten a few things. There’s a cemetery not far away which I loved. We also enjoyed visiting with friends in the living room on the comfy couches. Our friends loved the loft-type bedrooms upstairs. We would definitely stay here again. Jim was great to work with and easy to reach when we needed him.

This home has many wonderful memories for our family. It was originally the home of our mother Judy Newberry who passed away in 2011. Colorado has been a regular and special destination for our family as we spent 10+ years vacationing in the Manitou Springs / Woodland Park area as kids. We have participated multiple times in many of the activities that you will participate in this week such as Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Seven Falls, the Royal Gorge and White Water Rafting to name just a few.

It was our mother’s dream to live / retire in Colorado. While her journey was cut too short to retire here, she did live / work here the last 10 years of her life. We wanted to continue our family ritual by keeping this home in the family. In order to do so, we needed to off-set expenses with some sort of revenue. It just made sense for us open our home to other families providing the opportunity for you to create memories just as our family has.

Transparently, it’s a little hard to open up your home to strangers. But our mother provided us a lifetime of lessons teaching what it means to be hospitable and serve others. We are not some big company with multiple properties - we are just a family sharing our home with your family. We work hard to honor our mothers legacy by providing you a nice home and a warm / welcoming experience. We ask that you treat our home appropriately and we hope that you have a WONDERFUL time staying here. Jim Newberry & Jamie Anderson (owners)

We have tried to include many of the items that are often overlooked in other vacation rentals. You will find plenty of linens, a good start of paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins), trash bags, spices, and kitchen appliances. We have also worked hard on our outdoor attractions with a spacious completely fenced in yard, fire pit, patio with yard lights, and of course our relaxing hot tub.
