This charming, renovated cottage is on Saylors lake with amazing water views. A quaint retreat in a quiet neighborhood. Great location from wineries, ski resorts, water parks and dining. Unwind on our deck facing the water from the living room or screened in porch.

A simple, beautiful getaway on the water no matter what time of year.

New feature! Enjoy access to our brand new, quaint fitness center located right on the cottage grounds-perfect to get a quick work out in!

A lovely lakeside retreat with a wraparound screened porch perfect for sipping coffee and watching the birds, the water, and the sky.Was an ideal spot for our family of 4 (2 young adult kids) to unwind for a long summer weekend - shuffleboard, pickleball and kayaking were available onsite as well! Highly recommend- we hope to be back soon!

Such a sweet property! Very clean, peaceful and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and a very nice bath. We had such a wonderful time here. Would definitely visit again.

The cottage was better then expected. Very clean, had everything you needed. The decor was perfect for a lakefront home. It was so relaxing sitting by the water, as well as the fire pit. It was very cozy & charming. The washer and dryer were a plus. I am definitely going to be back. The host responded very quickly with my questions.parking was right by the cottage. If you're looking for a place to get away and just chill and relax this definitely is the place to be

The cottage is wonderful. Beautiful views right on the lake, comfortable atmosphere. You can not go wrong whether you are sitting outside on the deck or enjoying the interior of the cottage itself. Just an incredible place to relax and unwind.

Our stay was absolutely great! We loved it here and can’t wait to come back. The cottage was vey clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated with an amazing view.Communication was quick and responsive. If you’re looking for a quiet, calm, peaceful retreat, you can’t go wrong with this place. And the beds were 10 out of 10!

Clean and comfortable. Communication impeccable. Well maintained, felt right at home. Lake is beautiful. Few days away from the rat race and this was just the place. Everyone needs this in their life once in a while. Highly recommend.

Quick getaway

We had a very relaxing visit. The only disappointment was it is not a walkable area.There are no sidewalks, walking paths, or trails. After you leave the resort area you are walking along highways. Everything else was perfect for our quick getaway.

Everything about this stay was lovely! Directions related to check-in and parking were clear and helpful. The cottage itself is unbelievably charming and quaint, and has everything you'll need for your stay. I especially loved the beautiful, wrap-around screened-in porch, where I spent the majority of my time - watching the adorable ducks and the many turtles! The lake was so peaceful and quiet - the perfect place to relax and recharge. The kayaks were only about 30 feet away from the cottage and were also a great way to spend the afternoon. I also visited the two wineries and two farm stores recommended - all of which were less than 15 minutes away. It was such a wonderful stay; I hope to visit again!

Charming and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay here in the Hearts Desire Cottage Everything you need is there even coffee and two ways to make it. The decor is tasteful and calming . The screened in porch is a large plus that includes a place to sit and eat or just enjoy the views. We enjoyed the fireplace and the little duck that followed us around and came to our window lol one time Turtle accompanied him! There is a slight earshot of the highway and the restaurant on the lake has a hum in it's exhaust system, but it wasn't too bothersome and went away when they closed. The other cottages are nearby and you can hear people sometimes or see them outside . This was fine with us. The fire pit was a plus, we just got our own wood and we had to buy a lighter . We left a quart of wood and the lighter for the next guest. the washer dryer is soo convenient. the Host was a doll see you guys in the fall! Highly recommend this cottage!

This was a great place to spend time with our daughter, her husband and our 2 young grandkids. The adults liked the quiet, comfortable cottage and the boys liked how the ducks and the geese came right up to the deck extending over the water. Of course, everyone loved the kayaks! Only 25 minutes from the Crayola Experience, this was the perfect spot to spend a couple of nights. The cottage was clean and the kitchen well stocked. We never tried the TV, why would we? Playing games, kayaking, exploring the area - we had a great time!

Such a cute place! We loved the screened in porch in mornings and watching all the wild life. We saw two blue herons, a deer, turtles sunbathing on the rocks near the shore, and a bald eagle! Would definitely stay here again!

The "cottage" is exactly how it looks in the posting. It was very clean and comfortable. It is cute, decorated with so many little touches that are unique and fitting for the cottage feel. The wrap around screened porch was so nice during our one rainy day and to sit and listen to the frogs at night. My daughter actually slept on couch out on the porch one night.There were 4 of us which was perfect. It was a quiet community but not boring. My daughter and her boyfriend (both 25) made use of the kayaks and pickleball court. They also took a hike on the Cherry Valley National Wildlife trail. She is a birder and said there were lots of different species there. The community is close to some very good wineries. Grocery stores are with 10 miles.We will be back for sure. The fall would also be a great time to see the fall colors.
