The place was super cute, the AC worked really well. Wifi was great, and we really enjoyed the two TV's! The aquarium is super close! Highly recommend!However, there was sand both in the bed and shower. There were extra sheets in the drawers, which we switched out with because we weren't sure if the sheets were changed or not before we got there. Other than that, the place was great. I think some cleaning adjustments can be made.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here! The hostess was absolutely awesome, great communication when you definitely needed something. The place had just about everything you could need and then some, definitely a lot of thought went into making sure we had everything we might have needed, to be comfortable.We also wanted to be close to the USS Lexington and the aquarium, so this was a plus. We definitely will come back in the future! Thanks again for everything!

Came for our anniversary weekend and the place was perfect for two! It had a pool and was right in front of the beach which was amazing. Had a great time here :)

This is a cute little condo. My sister and best friend stayed in other condo's in the other two buildings and everyone LOVED the look and feel of this one. The only negative thing I can say has nothing to do with the host and everything to do with the property management when you check in. They told us the elevator was broke (which is wasn't) so we lugged all out stuff up 3 flights. They also did not provide us with a key card when we checked in, so when we came back Friday night and the gate was locked we had no idea what to do because we hadn't needed one all day the day before or Friday during the day. We had several cars behind us honking and getting impatient that we didn't know how to open it.

You never informed ms of any if these issues but the hall lights. The instructions are on the shelf. Im so sorry you could not understand or comprehend the use. The ants come this time of year and have been taken care of. The property is on the beach and I just realized you are the guest that lied and stated I sent you to another condo when another vondo was never mentioned in our app thread so VRBO is aware of your poor communication with me. Communication is key. You even stated how wonderful our property is. Wow thank you.

Birthday Getaway

This was perfect for a quick Birthday getaway for my husband & I.. it was on the beach & close to walk to sites, food & more.. will definitely book again when we decide to go back!!!

We had a great stay. Host was very responsive when I contacted her. The bed was comfy and there was completmentary coffee. Short walk to the beach was very convenient and there was always a spot for us on the beach, even on 4th of July weekend. The building is a little run down but the elevator works, which was super convenient for bringing up groceries and our things. Thank you for a great stay!

We found out the lights in the room hallway were not working , bedroom TV we couldn’t get channels to work, the toilet tank valve was leaking, hot tub was very cold, we couldn’t lock the slider door these were the mechanical issues! The people above us were running and thumping most of the evening.

You should of contacted us, management would of been happy to assist. So sorry you had a bad experience. That is what our app is for. To communicate. I just asked our guests and they stated that they have had none of those lusted issues. Take care.

It was a nice room. But the shower was COLD, even after I found the hot water heater and cranked it up. Construction on the road it is located on was a minor inconvenience. Located in the rougher looking side of town.

The host has EXCEPTIONAL costumer service. Her communication is timely, kind and customer oriented. She made sure we had what we needed to make the trip successful. She was kind, patient and went out of her way to make things right. For example, when we got to the property the elevator was out. She didn't know and when we told her, she presented a solution quickly and conveniently. Would stay on a property owned by this host again!

Was surprised about the pool. Apartment had mold on ceiling in shower. Railing on patio very flimsy. We had a toddler. Wasnt safe. Complex had recent fire and no fire alarms signs posted everyone. Otherwise it was fairly clean.

Great condo for a family of 4

I rented this condo for 5 nights with 3 kids (17, 16, 11) for a baseball tournament in Portland-about a 10 minute drive. We went to dinner in Port Aransas one night which is about 30/40 minutes depending on where you’re going. There is beach access from the parking lot. If you don’t like the beaches on the bay, it is a quick drive to a multitude of beaches on the Gulf. The front desk receptionist was polite and quick at check-in. My son and his friend asked me to specifically mention the bathroom in this review-they loved it; it has a rain shower but can switch to a handheld shower head. The tallest kiddo is 6’ and fit just fine. The entire condo has been updated and is classy and comfortable. I was nervous about the size with 4 people but it never felt cramped. It was perfect for us. There’s plenty of space for sleeping with both a comfortable full sized bed and air mattress. The futon also folds out to make another bed. There are extra pillows and bedding for the air mattress and futon. It has a full refrigerator with an ice maker. The kitchen has a small counter with seating for 4 and a small 2 seater table in the family room. The kitchen is nicely stocked with cooking utensils, silverware, et all. The porch has a side view of the ocean with enough room for everyone to enjoy. Watching the waves roll in at night was beautiful. The host was lovely, very accommodating and quick with response times. We really enjoyed staying here and are already talking about going back.

It grew on me

I felt like I didn’t do enough research on location. This was for a mother/daughter getaway. It seemed like the building was falling apart. Fire alarms in the building have been out of order. The pot holes just getting to the location was crazy. I really questioned how long that area has been untouched by construction. The front staff was very friendly and told me I was supposed to be told about a 20 check in fee which they waived. Once we got in, the host left a folder that shows you how to turn all lights on. It looked exactly like what I booked minus the couch. It was a small leather futon and there was this large folded mattress behind it. My daughter just used her blanket, she was iffy about moving it. The host kindly left us towels for the beach and there was also an umbrella and toys for kids, so that is a plus for those going with little ones. There was complimentary coffee, pancake mix, popcorn and seasoning. I saw the ceiling was chipping in the shower (side note if you are more than 6 ft tall, you will be too tall for the restroom) and after we showered and went to bed are when pieces started falling. I messaged host in the morning and she responded the next day after we left that she will let maintenance know. That was my only negative about the condo itself, so I felt at that point to enjoy it and make the best of it. Other pros besides having straight access to the beach is being close to the Texas State aquarium, USS Lexington ship, and NO roaches.
