Great place! Easy check in and access to house. Host was super responsive and friendly. Can’t recommend enough! Kitchen was so nice to have, and all the cookware included.

Charles, a fully stocked kitchen and a host who actually picks up the phone are the two things that make a place feel genuinely easy to use. Glad both came through, and hope to have you back.

Place was great! We were down for a baseball tournament so the school next door was a great place to practice.

It was a lovely house and had a great big yard. However, the maintenance of the property was unsatisfactory. Upon arrival the yard was overgrown (waist high weeds and stickers) and a pile of dirty towels were left in the bathroom cabinet. There was only one small garbage can in the bathroom, and the kitchen had an ant problem. We were unable to leave food on the counters or on the kitchen table. The ceiling light and the TV in the bedroom did not work and the knobs/handles fell off the drawers and closets, All the rugs and blankets were embedded with stickers from the yard (obviously from previous guests), so you could not walk around without shoes on. We put a call in to the property management and the lawn was mowed the next day for us and they put a garbage can in the kitchen. These things were fairly minor inconveniences for us, but we want to be sure the owner and property managers are aware of problems so they can be handled before the next guests arrive.

Prime location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was very nice and a good location from Port Aransas and Rockport. Definitely coming back and would highly recommend. There is a lot of ant hills and stickers on the yard so don't go out there walking barefoot other than that everything else was great.

Wonderful cozy house. Very clean inside. Was perfect for myself and friend. Down there to fish. Issues: Exterior needs LTC! overgrown bushes, yard not mowed and full of grass stickers/ burrs (there were some imbedded in rugs inside we found out), and the decking and railing needs to be looked at (rotting boards, and railing that needs maintenance.

Felt very welcome. Nice yard with secure parking. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Right in the middle of things like beaches, fishing, fresh seafood. There are 3 minor things that need to be fixed in the future. Internet is not working in the casita, so no TV in the casita. Need a space heater or something to heat the casita on cold nights, had some nights in the 40's. Most of the cycles on the wash machine do not work. Once you find the working cycle you are OK.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, older house but updated inside.Beware of walking w out shoes on..major stickersWe took lots of meat to bbq outside, we didn’t bbq...The mosquitoes were so bad.. and when I say bad, that’s an understatement..They need to get a professional pest control out there.The deck that connects the small house to house, there was a couple soft boards that was a safety issue..Over all, cute house inside ..It had everything you would need for a stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The guest book had several notations that “stckers “were in the yard, came in on shoes, and got imbedded in the rugs. (True) There are rugs in every room. They look nice but are unpleasant to walk on. The cleaner left a used breathing nasal strip on the back of a bar chair. We were told the coffeemaker was not a “K” cup machine but it was so an extra trip to the store was required. The location was great, the HVAC worked very well. The second bedroom is outside the main living area. Not a good fit for older people with mobility issues. Price was fair.

I know this is a terrible review , but it is the truth. We arrived Sunday at 4:30pm. The entry code furnished by VRBO did not work. I called the customer support number and I was directed to a foreign country where I could not understand the agent. 458 minutes.We tried back-and-forth to resolve the problem.But could not. The host was unable to be reached. After my second message to the host and leaving my phone number , she called back with a different door code. The house was infested with ghost ants and the yard was infested with stickers. I will never again use VRBO. I have used VRBO in the past with good results , but that was several years ago , and now they have gotten so big , they don't care about anything , but the money. The floors were dirty and did not appear to have been mopped. When we went to flush the toilet.It would not flush because it had a broken handle lever. After taking a shower, we were standing in ankle deep water, because the drain was so stopped with hair, it could not drain. The dumpster was overflowing with previous guests trash to the point we could not put our own trash in it.

The house was as listed very clean and the air conditioning was great,the outside has some weather related wear,the yard was very large and neat.The host never responded to the only issue we had,which was disappointing...all the amenities we needed for our stay were provided,we would stay again the location is great for shopping ,dining or any water related activities
