Great long weekend off-season. Very much enjoyed the location, the house setup, the kitchen, fire pit. Took long walks in the fall air, enjoyed Saco, and downtown Portland.

Place was very nice. To the host I would suggest more info about the HVAC system and the “on-demand” hot water system. It worked great but some folks may not understand the sounds. Also, a small bar of soap in each bathroom would be appreciated. We, however, had a great time and the place is excellent.

We had a wonderful time celebrating with family my mother in laws 80th birthday. The highlight is the beautiful yard with plenty of room to play games, cook and sit on the beach. The neighborhood general store just a short walk has great sandwiches especially the fresh lobster rolls. Theres restaurant with live music walking distance as well. We were pleased to find a fridge in garage as we were a large group and brought a lot of food. My mother in law was very pleased to be able to have everyone in the same spot. The views are lively as well.

The Peekytoe Property is a seaside gem. Perfect for large family gatherings. Clean, comfy and roomy. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your dinner planning - including plenty of ‘lobster crackers’ so you can enjoy a backyard Lobsterfest. The backyard is beyond what you can imagine. Beautiful! The hosts have thought of everything to make your vacation run smoothly. And if there’s something you need, they are a phone call away.You will not be disappointed by booking a stay! Enjoy!

Property was beautiful, large family we utilized all sleeping areas and had a wonderful stay. We arrived fairly early hoping to utilize the beach before entering seeing as we missed any traffic and the owner was very friendly and accommodating for us. Would definitely recommend for large groups looking for a relaxing stay.

Great location and the accommodations were perfect for the extended family. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked! We certainly put the kitchen to very good use and our celebration was a success.The owner was quick to respond to questions and quite accommodating. We all had a wonderful time!!

Great location. Perfect for a family girls weekend. We had a blast. Walking on the beach was the highlight. The Camp Ellis general store was perfect for morning coffee and provided delicious lobsters for dinner one night. The owners were so friendly. Also the large dinning table was key for us.

The reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 was because the second floor has a bedroom with a king bed and a loft area (not really a bedroom) so while the guests were sleeping (or trying to - including 2 small children) others were walking past trying to be quiet but clearly not succeeding as the two upstairs bathrooms were both in that area as well. Also the lock on one of the bathroom doors didn’t seem to function. We also thought there was a path to the beach but we had to go through the neighbors section of beach to get there - not a big deal as they were very nice and i believe it was because of erosion from a storm the prior week. The yard is great - and completely enclosed so the kids could run around without us worrying they would escape, and we used the fire pit and the grill and climbed every rock. The General Store is a block away and getting to the train station to park cars isn’t too bad. We were a big group & had too many cars. The kitchen is really well equipped and we used every pot and pan .

Wonderful stay!

We always enjoy our time here. The house and cottage provide plenty of comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked. The view and sound of the waves is amazing and it is wonderful to sit around the fire pit in the evening.

Amazing Location and An Overall Nice Place

We stayed here with 10 children and 8 adults and never felt cramped. The yard and the proximity to the beach are what made our stay. Plenty of room for the kids to play and it was about 40-50 feet to get to get to the ocean.

Fantastic friend getaway!

7 of us stay here. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had all the necessary items to enjoy the week. The sunrises are amazing off the property. Can’t wait to come back!

Womens Retreat

Peekytoe Cottage was perfect for our group. Enough bedrooms, bathrooms and comfortable seating inside & out. The kitchen had all we needed and the views were amazing. We got some beautiful pics.
