Charming Anahola Studio Cabin ~ Short Walk to Beach

Mahinani's Farm offers a unique experience for visitors to stay in a peaceful location tucked directly between the mountains and the ocean.
Our Tiny Studio Cabin is surrounded by soft rolling hills, giant royal palms, pines, coconut trees and flowers. Perfect for OUT-DOORSY, NATURE LOVERS type only... because, although we have quarterly pest control treatment, you may see insects. Part of life in a tropical climate. We appreciate guests wanting to spend quality time on beautiful grounds away from paved parking lots, elevators & the public.
Our farm sits up on a bluff, close enough to the ocean to hear it and walk to it. Yet, in case of a tsunami warning there is no need to evacuate as we are not in the evacuation zone. The walk to the beach is very enjoyable. Its down a shady little road that takes about 15 to 20 minutes depending on the pace.
Located in the East for the perfect base to explore both sides of the island from.

The cabin has NO TV reception.
Bedroom has small Air Conditioner, fan above the bed and portable fans.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to call a temporary home in Kauai. The outdoor shower made the whole experience and cabin was equipped with all necessary amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was outstanding. Location was incredible. Would certainly stay here again when I return to Kauai. The cabin was compact but had everything we needed and more. View was breathtaking.

We loved our stay at Diana’s cabin. It was a great place to retreat to after long days of exploring the island. It is not a resort property which we loved. We got a flavor of how the locals live. We would stay there again if we ever make it back to Kauai. Fantastic scenery!

This cottage is in a peaceful, serene location with beautiful viewsnof mountains and lush trees and plants. The space was clean with lovely decorations and evertyhing needed for a stay. Diana was a gracious host and went well beyond to provide information and coordination when my travel timeline changed!

We absolutely loved this cozy cabin in Anahola! The shower is wonderful, the full kitchen is super thoughtfully designed and appointed, and the bedroom and desk were perfect for our working vacation. Thanks to Diana for her hospitality and we are grateful that we could say hello to Waiwai and Coco on our walks to Anahola beach.

Kind host, lovely outdoor shower, comfortable stay that was both off the beaten path and really well located to get to all the places we wanted to explore could not have asked for a better place to spend a few days on the island! The palm tree grove, blooming orchids everywhere, and beach within walking distance (20 min) were highlights

Great place to stay. It was close by a lot of our activities we had planned. The close walk to the beach was a bonus to us.

really cool cabin with a nice layout. Perfect for a couple's getaway. We really loved the private hot outdoor shower, and the kitchen nearby but not right in the bedroom. Location was also great. Easy drive to Kapaa or up north to Hanalei area.

What an amazing little cabin! My daughter and I love nature and staying in non-touristy places and this was just the perfect place. Diana the hostess provided beach chairs, an umbrella, a perfect little kitchen, and such a cozy porch. We had breakfast smoothies, juices and açaí bowls down the street each day and went off to explore each day! We explored Waimea Canyon and Salt Pond beach one day and the north coast two other days. Goat yoga is next door so we loved driving by and seeing the goats to / from “home” each day. The outdoor shower was a treat and the roosters helped us get an early start each day! The mosquitos came out at night but as long as we kept the doors closed we were just fine indoors thanks to the screens. I would definitely stay here again when I come back one day to this beautiful island!

This was true paradise with incredible views. Ive always wanted to stay in Anahola its beautiful and this was the place to experience it. Its like being in the jungle absolutely incredible, the walk was mesmerizing to a beautiful beach. They have all amenities you need for the beach. the birds songs are beautiful the drive from the road to the house is fun. Its was a dream place to stay i cant express enough how people should stay at this dream scape. Loved it. Will always stay here if available.truly a gem

I absolutely loved my stay! This is the only place I will stay for any future visits! This was the most peaceful and beautiful spot I’ve ever seen and my host was the best and sweetest human! With much love from Texas!!

A peaceful retreat away from it all! It is a lovely property and it was wonderful to feel like we had our own unshared space away from the resorts and condos. We loved the outdoor seating area and the outdoor shower. The inside got hot and stuffy during the day, but cooled off at night. We didn’t use the A/C at night and loved that we could do that. We only turned it on once during the day, but realized it was easier to just remain outside until later in the evening. There were bugs and lizards, but we didn’t mind them. I think I only saw 1 or 2 mosquitoes, so the bugs were not bothersome at all. The roosters on the other hand woke us up early every morning around 4:30. There are tons of roosters and inevitably, one would be right outside our window. Plan to go to bed earlier and wake up early - you can beat the heat that way anyway. Also loved the orchids on the property! We would come back. Mahalo!

Beautiful, secluded place

We were looking for a place off the beaten path and this cottage was perfect! Great for catching the sunrise on the east side of the island!

Host was flexible and responsive. We appreciated the charm of this rustic cabin and that all basic necessities were available, including beach stuff:). Also has the best outdoor shower, truly! You must be ok with nature being a part of your experience; chickens, geckos and mosquitoes. We made friends with them all, except mosquitoes, there was Off! For that
