Welcome to your Hawaiian Acacia tree oasis. Some call it the rain tree. Others call it the Monkeypod or Saman. You will call it home while you enjoy Kauai. Every detail of this remodel was meticulously crafted by hand using actual Monkeypod trees sustainably harvested on the island of Kauai. Live Edge slabs infused with LED lighting greet you in the kitchen. Smaller live edge shelving welcomes you into the Bathroom oasis. Even the bathroom mirror was crafted from Kauai Monkeypod wood! The Monkeypod Acacia is renowned for its dual Golden and dark brown hues and tones. This unit just finished an extensive $100,000 renovation that finished in March, 2025. and is located on the second floor offering a breathtaking view of Wailua Bay. You will find yourself right on the ocean and far from the highway! Sit and relax on your private lanai while watching the waves roll in to Wailua beach. The view is truly spectacular.
Wailua Bay View is centrally located near Kapaa by the famous Wailua River and old Coco Palms resort where Elvis filmed 'Blue Hawaii'. It is only 10 minutes from the airport and is a perfect location to base from when sightseeing on the Garden Isle. The condo is situated directly over beautiful Wailua beach and is only a short walk to Papaloa beach, a protected cove for babies and young children. Lydgate Park is less than a 5 minute drive which boasts the best playground on Kauai. In addition, the County of Kauai built a bike path that borders Wailua Bay View and stretches from Kealia Beach to Lydgate Park, more than 8 miles in length.
The private lanai is complete with railing for extra security. This makes a perfect set up for families either with or without children. Our condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer in the unit. We also offer free wireless high speed internet, cable TV, a king sized bed, a queen sofabed, a single futon and even a pack and play/crib for little ones. Beach gear such as boogie boards and beach chairs are also provided to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

My wife and I stayed for a 12 day honeymoon, it was perfect. Pretty central for if you're exploring the island. The kitchen and bathroom are pretty well stocked for any cooking you'd want to do as well. The pool was great, always nice and warm and very clean! Absolutely would stay here again when we return!

It was a beautiful and clean unit. The ocean view and waves were incredibly relaxing. We enjoyed all of the beach equipment provided.

Nice sized condo for 2 people. Very nice renovation. The view was great. The bed was comfortable. Good sized closet in bedroom. Condo was close by to restaurants, grocery store, brewery and shopping. The host sent efficient instructions on how to get there and the check in process. We only have one complaint, there was only 1 washcloth to use for 2 people for 4 days. Otherwise we absolutely loved it and would stay there again.

Very nice place to stay. Everything is as listed and shown in the listing. The only thing I can fault is that the Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the bedroom. You have to be in the living room for it to work. Minor inconvenience but overall very pleasant stay. Ocean view from the balcony and nice upgraded unit. Kitchen has lots of dishes and tools making it ideal if you want to cook. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing beach view and unbeatable location. The place comes with beach chairs and umbrella which were so useful. Couldn’t ask for more. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and even allowed a late checkout for a small fee. Would recommend to everyone!

Absolutely fantastic stay. The property was wonderful. Very clean, comfortable, modern & well equipped. The location is fantastic and there are many food and entertainment choices with a quick walk. Would absolutely stay there again.

We had a great time. Great brand new room air condition was a little too loud. But nothing to be concerned about and the patio door has to be fixed. Looks like it looks properly, but it doesn't can be opened with a little more forced apply to it. Very good time pool is great. Go back there anytime thank you.

The property was exactly as the photos show. Very nicely remodeled. Convenient location. Easy to access the main road around the island from the condo. There is no immediate access to the beach, but there are access paths a short walk away. The views are stunning. Our only complaint would be that the air conditioner unit in the bedroom is noisy. There are ceiling fans and the ocean breeze is delightful.

The location is great for exploring the island. There are a few restaurants, a beach that is never crowded, and an easy hop onto the highway.The unit has been very nicely renovated. It is very well equipped for cooking and has good beach equipment to use.

Parking was good. Room was clean. Newly remodeled kitchen was beautiful. Communication with host was good. Ocean front view was amazing!

Great place to stay for two. Wife and I enjoyed the second leg of our honeymoon here. Centrally located for north and south shore destinations. Also close to Kapaa restaurants and other walkable bars, breweries, and convenience stores. Would stay again

The view is amazing and the condo was recently remodeled and was excellent. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals and they had all the essentials to enjoy the beach including chairs umbrella snorkeling equipment.
