I’ve stayed at this condo several times. The view is unbeatable! Love the location of Wailua Bay View condos near Kapa’a. Beach amenities are a plus…chairs, boogie boards, cooler, umbrella and (freeze packs to keep things cold). Plenty of beach towels, bath towels and kitchen amenities. We also enjoy the bbqs to cook our meals. Will definitely return in the future.

Beautiful sunrises and views of the Bay

Unit had everything for a short visit. Convenient to reach the North shore or heading to Waimea. Kapaa was a cute little town that had shopping and restaurants.

We really only need a place to sleep, thankfully.The VRBO ad states the location has AC, and in fact does. However, it’s not going to reach the bedroom. They ask not to use the AC if possible, because it’s expensive. When you do use it, you have to empty the tote of water run off, every AM to prevent it from over filling onto the balcony. This is where issues start. We had to open the windows, to have some air flow. The traffic outside is loud, racing cars, sirens & so on. There clearly is a septic plant very near and the waffling odors of that don’t allow the bedroom windows to be open.We moved the mattress to sleep in the living room. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. We layered the mattress with pillows to sleep on. But at least we didn’t have to smell poo and we could get cool on the warm nights.They ask not to leave more than two loads of laundry for the keeper. The bedding alone would be two loads honestly, if they are washing the mattress cover and comforter every time ( ohh I hope they are) We were here for 7 days, of course there is going to be more then 2 loads with beach towels, bath towels and the amenities of doing our own. Now we had to do their laundry also. The grounds are beautiful, clean and welcoming. The beach is quiet, and the rental does offer chairs to bring down to the lawn or beach, so that was awesome. The pool was clean and absolutely amazing every evening. The grill by the pool was great and we used it. It was clean, almost brand new.

Perfect location. Can easily drive to the north or south shore. Can walk to Coconut Market Place. Stunning view. Owner is very responsive to any communication and easy to work with. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our happy place

This is our go-to condo every year. Perfect central location on the island, with a million dollar view. Nice to have washer/dryer, full kitchen and a big lanai. Safe area, and walking distance to many restaurants and shopping, even after dark. Owner is responsive and great to deal with.

Amazing

This condo was wonderful and perfect for our needs. Amazing view, short distance to Coconut Market, centrally located, so that we could easily drive to any part of the island. The kitchen is well stocked, which made it easy to prepare meals if we wanted. Beach chairs, ice chest, umbrella, all provided. Lisa is very easy to work with, and very responsive to any questions or needs. My husband and I will definitely be returning.

Beautiful view!!

I have stayed at Wailua Bay View several times and it’s one of my favorite places. We found the condo to be clean and neat. You cannot beat the view of Wailua looking towards Lydgate Beach Park There were two beach chairs, towels, boogie board and a cooler available. Lisa is always very responsive and cooperative with any questions or minor issues. We will definitely be back soon. Aloha…😎🐠

The place is great, the traffic noise is not!

The place was lovely, enjoyed the views from the balcony. It is centrally located on the island which makes for a short day trip no matter which way you go exploring. The only problem for me was it's location. It is very close to the highway and there can be a lot of traffic noise heard from the bedroom. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay a lot and would definitely recommend the place to others. Priced very fairly, in my opinion.

Two weeks in paradise

As every year, we had a great stay. The owner Lisa keeps adding little updates and improvements, and she keeps the price reasonable. Nice having beach chairs, umbrella and cooler waiting on the lanai. And someone left chip clips! Yay! Also a new set of knives. The highway is almost finished and will have two lanes in each direction. Will really smooth out traffic backups. But who hears traffic? All we hear 24/7 is surf! A million dollar view for sure. See you next year!

Excellent value, great location, wonderful view.

My wife and I stayed here 24 Sep - 1 Oct 2023. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony and close proximity to restaurants and shopping, many within a very short walking distance. The furnishings and amenities were quite adequate for an enjoyable stay. I would say they are a bit dated compared to other condos we have stayed in but in no way detracted from our stay. And for the value, compared to other condos in the same complex, you can't beat it. Some folks have complained about the road noise and I was a bit worried about it prior to arriving but thought that since most of the road construction in the area had been completed, it wouldn't be too bad. I do have to say, that even though the road construction was very minimal, the road was still a bit noisy. It is just a very busy road, regardless of construction. If you are a light sleeper, this may be an issue for you. I came prepared with some soft silicon ear plugs and had no problem sleeping. My wife doesn't like using ear plugs so the road noise was a bit more annoying for her. Overall, the condo really is a lovely place to stay, and as I mentioned, you can't beat the price.

Great location okay condo

The location of the condo is excellent. It is located on the water but you will have to walk 2 minutes to get to the beach because it is on a bluff which provides wonderful views. The condo is okay but there are some things to be aware of. It is definitely dated with old appliances, furniture etc except for the stove and microwave which seem newer. Small TV (22"-24"?) by today's standards that seems to be on it's last legs. WiFi was not great if you are a person that likes to stream videos. The condo was clean but definitely not spotless. If you are a person that looks behind furniture or at light fixtures to judge cleanliness then you could be disappointed. This is a case of you are paying for what you get. By comparison to other condo's in the area the price is very competitive. You are walking distance to shopping, restaurants (literally across the street,) beaches, river kayaking etc. There are a couple of gas BBQs in the pool area which is out front of the condo. The building seems to be well maintained. There is an onsite management office that you sign in with for your parking pass. There is a lock box system for accessing the condo keys which is convenient. The condo is on a street just off the main highway so you don't get the road noise but have quick access to the highway. There is no AC in the bedroom (AC in living room) but with the ceiling fan and floor fan the room stayed fairly cool. It is a 3 minute drive to Safeway or about a 20 -25 minute walk. Would I stay there again? Definitely yes because of the location.

Excellent view of Wailua bay. Close to everything in Kapa’a. Well equipped with chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards and everything you’d need for a week of fun. Enjoyed our stay.

directly on the sea, spacious with flaws

The apartment was well laid out. Everything had been thought of in the kitchen and for the beach (chairs, umbrella, etc.). The view of the sea is beautiful. The contact was very nice and someone came over right away. Unfortunately, a main road runs past the house and the noise is quite loud in the bedroom. My main criticism is the extremely unpleasant smell in the apartment: the old carpet, the ancient stove, and the towels stink as soon as they get wet. And when something fell under the bed, I was disgusted by the dirt underneath. The balcony chairs are completely rusted and my clothes now have rust stains. There's no clothes rack.

Peaceful

Loved hearing the waves and the view was very nice. We were so glad for the chairs, cooler, shade umbrellas, beach boards & all the beach supplies. The bed comfortable and it was so nice to have fans throughout the apartment & a/c. We throughly enjoyed ourselves.

Wialua Bay View is the bomb

Great property right on the Wialua bay. Walking distance to several great restaurants and the best bakery on the island. Centrally located so you can head north to Honilie or south to Poi pu. The sound of the surf puts you to sleep each night and the rooster gives you a wakeup call!

Exceptional View of the Bay hearing the waves

Super clean and well équiped. Lovely to eat on the balcony. Fantastic View and sunrise. 3 relatively small downsides: 1. Slight noise from the street in the bedroom, 2. Outside light forced us to close bedroom soir and 3. Funny smell in the área but not really in the condo. Still very good for value!

Gorgeous views in great location

This was our second time in Kaua‘i and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The views are breathtaking and the unit is clean and comfy. The third floor was perfect for us since you don’t have anyone above you stomping around. Washer and dryer were really appreciated during our 10 night stay. We brought our own washing detergent but there were also plenty of wash pods available for use. Bedroom faces towards the Main Street which can get quite noisy early in the morning but we didn’t mind that much. Pool looks good and clean - we didn’t use it tho because the ocean is right in front of the door :) The whole complex is pretty quiet, no loud neighbors, no playgrounds or loud kids while we were there. Overall I’d recommend this unit to anyone!
