Wish we could stay Forever and a Day

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group ranged in age from 16 months to 83 years and I believe we all had a great stay at Forever and a Day. Seventeen people all had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the amenities. Except the grill which wouldn't light and previous guests had left filthy. So don't plan on grilling like we did, and have to change plans. Also the beautiful stove in the kitchen was a ***** to light. Luckily, my husband has a PhD and was able to follow the instructions and get the stovetop and ovens lit, but it was ridiculously complicated for a vacation rental. (Hint: Guests want simple, easy to work appliances) Other than that, overall the stay was great and we enjoyed nice weather, too.

Great Potential...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time, but this house does not deliver on its potential. Dining table only sits 8 people, with another 5 benches around the island. No ice maker and the grill ran out of propane half way through the week. We had a great week, but for the price, we expected more from this house.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been renting in/around the Topsail area for over 20 years, and this is the best experience we’ve had! The house was fantastic and super clean. The kitchen is stocked for a chef. With 16 people, we had plenty of space and didn’t feel crowded. The golfers in our group loved the putting green, and the kids loved the cornhole and volleyball net. The pool was very clean when we arrived and was cleaned again mid-week. Property management made the whole experience super easy, from booking through the end of our stay. They quickly respond to text questions. We made them aware of a very minor issue with the washer and they had someone onsite the next day. Overall, we highly recommend both this house and Landmark Vacation Rentals!

Very nice rental with some need improvements

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was very nice, several items needed repair or were in sub par shape. The video game machine screen did not work, landmark was advised. No repairs were made. Coffee (Keurig) was not on site when we arrived. They brought one several days later. Several pieces of trim were loose and falling from the ceiling. Blender was not operable, bottom was cracked and basically trash. Garbage was not picked up when we arrived and all cans were extremely full. It was Labor Day weekend so we had to wait till Tuesday for any repairs or ,getting the coffee pot. Very nice location, just seems very used and not very clean upon checking in.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our first trip to topsail we usually stay in Emerald Isle. The house was nice with great amenities. However the pool was very dirty when we got there as well as the outside area. Two of the bathrooms had significant mold on the shower curtain liners. We bought bleach to clean them. The media room was awesome however many of the recliners did not recline. I would suggest more entry rugs to wipe feet to cut down on sand.

The beach is on a less used section so we never had trouble finding a spot for our chairs and never felt crowded.
