Perfect location for attending a retreat at Interlochen

This place is spotlessly clean, easy to access, and the property owners are easy to get in touch with and respond quickly. I’d definitely stay here again.

These owners were great. Easy to work with, and have a nice and cozy property albeit a bit older than I thought via pictures, but didn’t detract from the stay. The pictures do present a bit of a different layout in a bedroom but the arrangement was ok for our needs. Was clean and cared for and quick response when I had a question. They communicate well with you in advance and before check out and are thoughtful about sharing about the area. We’d stay again if we are on that way.

This VRBO was perfect! Between a cozy living room, a fenced in front yard, a fire pit and walking distance to some trails this is a fantastic pet friendly location! The onsite grill and laundry was also a nice amenity. The location made it easy to get to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City with just a short drive.The hosts communicated everything well and provided clear details on checking in, activities to do around the house for fun, and on check out. Overall it was a seamless and easy experience! All in all, 10/10!

We had an absolutely fabulous time in Interlochen at this home. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We were two couples, so the split level design was great! We basically had two private apartments in one house. I would definitely recommend this property and this location.

I spent three weeks here with my dog while my child was at music camp at Interlochen. You cannot beat the location. I easily attended events at Interlochen. I took hikes at Sleeping Dunes National Park, in Traverse City, and at Old Mission Point. The scenery is gorgeous and the weather was a nice escape from the heat and humidity of NC. The fenced in yard was super convenient. My dog and I enjoyed sitting, taking in the clean air and sunshine. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed. The Wi-Fi was strong and dependable. I was even able to conduct zoom meetings for work without a hitch. I am hoping my child will come back next summer so I have an excuse to rent this house again.

Home away from home

We had a wonderful time during our stay. There were a few things that were broken but a quick message was sent to the hosts about it and they ensured it would get fixed. Very good response time, and easy to access the house.

Excellent location! Great for our family having a child at Interlochen Arts Academy for the week and for fishing. Perfect set up. Easily accessible. Owners were amazing about communicating, addressing any issues and had a booklet that was helpful and answered many questions.

Perfect home, perfect location!

I was pleasantly pleased by the accommodations . Anytime I had a question they responded quickly. This was my first VRBO rental. It was very close to Interlochen Academy. It was wonderful to have a house to come home too. Thank you so much!

Peaceful home away from home.

I'd like to give a heartfelt thanks to our hosts. My adult sons and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, tranquil neighborhood. This home was the perfect place for family time. There are also many great sites to visit in the area, which we took advantage of. Our hosts, Kip and Aimee, were the best! Their response to all questions or concerns is almost immediate. We give them a 10 star rating. We will definitely stay again next time we visit. Lastly, Northern Michigan is a beautiful place to vacation. We couldn't have been happier.

Perfect Northern Michigan Retreat

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation, and this home was perfect! We had 3 adults and 3 young children for an 11 night stay, and the space and layout was great. We loved having a media/play room downstairs for the kiddos, and having 2 full baths and laundry made our daily routines easy. The location in Interlochen is a great central spot between Traverse City, Leelanau, and the National Lakeshore. The neighborhood is lovely, wooded, and the property was private and spacious. We enjoyed eating dinners on the deck, then watching the fireflies at dusk, and relaxing by fires in the large pit. Our hosts were amazing! They communicated in a timely manner, sent comprehensive information, made sure the rental was up to expectations, checked in a couple times, and were genuinely kind and friendly. We hope to do a big trip again in a couple of years, and this will be our first choice for a place to stay. Highly recommend!
